Derpy receives a map and is told to meet in the Everfree forest with a friend. Derpy convinces her friend Carrot Top to join her. Once inside they find old ruins and start a war between fire and ice that was prophesied to happen.
Based off of Carbon Maestro's D&CT. Derpy is handed a map by a unicorn in her shop. The map has an alicorn amulet symbol on it and is in the middle of the ever free forest. Derpy drags Carrot Top along with her into the forest where they find ruins of an old town. They find themselves in old ruins of a small town.
The legend started over two thousand years ago, where a mare made a mark on history by creating the snowflake, her name was Snowdrop. Unfortunately, the Pegasus was born blind. The story we all know was that Snowdrop died of an unknown cause, The story was a lie.
The morning it happened Snowdrop and Luna were flying high above Ponyville when a storm rolled upon them, a strong gust of wind came from inside the cloud and blew Snowdrop out of the sky and towards the Everfree forest. When Snowdrop finally landed, the ground she hit was mossy and damp, she started feeling around for something to tell her where she was when she felt a cold rock but it wasn't just a rock but a crystal with metal plating on it. As she picked it up something happened, something horrible.
Luna flew back up to get an aerial view over the forest to look for Snowdrop when the forest seemed to glow a bright blue. Waiting and looking into the forest for a sign that snowdrop was alright, in a blink of an eye, the forest was turned to ice. Snowdrop flew out of the forest but something seemed different. Snowdrop's wings were enlarging to the side of an alicorn. Her eyes had changed too, turning from the pale white eyes into normal eye except redness had shown up around the edges. Her hair changed too it was now almost completely light blue, the hair itself was moving out of free will. Luna looked at her with disbelief when she noticed the amulet on her head. Snowdrop had found the alicorn amulet and it was changing her.
Snowdrop could now cast magic, she started using it by making it hail but soon it was growing in size and the edges came to a sharp point. Luna dodged the hail when others soon followed. Dodging the incoming hail soon, another massive hail droplet came into view Luna could not dodge it when a yellow ball surrounded her. She looked around to see her own sister who cast the spell.
Both princesses cast spells to trap Snowdrop. They tried for days until they broke the amulet free. Snowdrop requested to keep the amulet. One day there was news of the amulet again. They found her far away from Ponyville in a land without a name. They imprisoned her in the deepest dungeon in the castle that stood above the land. Soon the chains that held her were not strong enough, when she broke free a burst of power covered all around the city and froze all inside and out.
When she finally made it out of the city the princesses were ready to lock her in the city forever, but they weren't ready for what they saw. Snowdrop was now an orange mare with icy hair that moved like the princesses but in strands. Her cutie mark had changed into a heart divided into three sections. The Luna yelled to her "Snowdrop you don't have to do this."
She yelled back, "My name isn't Snowdrop its Acheron and I want this city to be named after me." The princesses readied an army of creatures and of soldiers ready to risk their lives. For days the battled creatures made of ice until Snowdrop was captured. The princesses brought her to the middle of the frozen kingdom where she could be frozen forever without breaking free.
Luna in spite of her sister made a passageway to get into the kingdom to visit her old friend. Through time, the kingdom was lost and a passage still stood open the forest thrived and grew. No one knows where the entrance is today or what happened to the army, but it is told that one day she will be freed.
One day a mare named Derpy was cooking muffins and just as she had put them into the warm oven when she kissed her youngest child and husband goodbye. The pegasus, noting that the sun was just rising, flew quickly to her mail store. The office was empty and dark when she got in. Derpy turned around again and looked at the sun through the glass windows of the store, she locked the boor behind her as she trotted to the counter.
She quickly made her way to the backroom where she turned on a light. In the back there were a few machines with bags underneath them. The bags were sitting on a conveyor belt that led to a wall that had many small boxes with names and addresses on a label. As soon as she fliped a switch the back of the store came to life, moving the bags putting more mail into the bags, and a machine at the end of the conveyor took mail out of the bags and placed them in their corect places. Derpy was still getting use to the technology that her husband , Doctor Whooves, had just installed to make life a bit easier.
Derpy walked into a closet and placed all of her things on a small bookshelf when heard a knock from the front of her store. Derpy haden't been expeccting anypony so early into the day. When she turned on the light to the front of the store she could see a unicorn standing outside in a ragged hood with a satchel that looked worn and old. She quickly trotted over to the front door and unlocked it. Derpy let out a nervous laugh "I wasn't expecting anypony so early considering I don't open until ten."As he reached into his dusty bag Derpy noticed that the bag had a symbol on the side that she had never seen.
The symbol looked like a heart had straight lines instead of rounded edges, while throughout the heart there were three straight lines that split the heart into three sections white and a lighter and a darker shade of blue. As Derpy looked at the bag she noticed something strange, though the bag was raggedy the symbol on it seemed new. The unicorn pulled a dusty old map out of the raggedy bag and placed it on the counter. Derpy with a smile asked where it was to be delivered. The unicorn laughed and said with a scruffy voice "Sorry for the confusion but I was sent to deliver this to you." He continued on with saying "I was told you must have a friend or a companion" and to meet at the amulet. When the unicorn left, Derpy picked up the old map and unrolled it.
On the map was all of Equestria but the only sign on the map was in the Everfree forest where an amulet that looked like an alicorn rested. Derpy figured that is where they should meet. She packed a bag for the small trip into the forest: Muffins, water, first aid and the map. The only thing missing was a friend. She flew out of her store as fast as she could when she hit some pony. The hit knocked both of them over. Derpy looked up with a hurt head and apologized. Carrot Top looked down and laughed. Derpy got up and realized that she had hit Carrot Top. Derpy told Carrot Top what the unicorn had told her and that she needed a friend to go along with her because she was one of the few friends she had.
Carrot top said that she wouldn't be able to. Derpy asked why Carrot Top could not go. She had to think for a minute but had to think of a lot of reasons why she couldn't go, one of them being it's in the middle of the Everfree forest. After the walk to Carrot Top's house, Derpy had put enough begging into the same question that Carrot Top decided to go with her to meet the unicorn. They looked into the forest where they could see a perfect path that went in but if you stepped off into the forest it got darker and more over run with weeds and other plants, while on the path light shown in through the tops of the trees like rays of the sun. They went into this forest not knowing what they would find.
After walking for about and hour they felt something watching them in the woods. As they looked ahead they saw a stone building. They rushed ahead to find a clearing. There were old buildings filled with overgrown plants and flowers but the area felt of death and decay. As they wandered through the old forgotten buildings Derpy found a helmet that a soilder would wear.As she put it on, her mane flew out of the back of it. The helmet had designs all around and over. As they left this building they saw a door opening to a large hole in the ground. As they walked to these doors two stone ponies stood next to the building where an archway was broken. As Derpy took the lead she opened the two small doors as she heard Carrot top cry to run.
Derpy turned around to see Carrot Top running to her and skeletons of ponies that were moving behind her. Their bones were gray and thin and their helmets looked as old themselves, their eyes were hollow and black except a gleaming red dot that stood out of the darkness of their eyes. Derpy started flying inside when rocks started to collapse behind them, a rock fell from the ceiling above and struck Derpy's helmet sending her to the cave floor. Carrot Top jumped to push Derpy out of the way of the falling rocks, as they both landed into an opening of a dark cave. A skeleton had followed them into the cave and was smashed instantly by the falling rocks leaving just the head, all of a sudden Carrot Top heard Derpy cry "The walls are moving."
Carrot Top turned around to see Derpy shouting and pointing in front of her, as Carrot top ran over all she saw was a light and a bridge. Derpy started pointing at the walls and shouting that there was legs and bodies on the walls Carrot Top shifted terrified to expect to see more dead ponies but instead she saw a giant spider. The Spider had a Giant cape to fit its size the cape was white and seemed to have a big black plus sign the spider looked like a pile of long hairy sticks. The spider was bigger then both Derpy and Carrot Top, Smaller spiders started moving closer to this massive spider with a cape.
Derpy looked around the massive room and saw webs of all sizes that were taking over the room like the plants outside. Derpy and Carrot top stood back to back as spiders started to surround them. Carrot Top whispered to Derpy, "What do we do?"
Derpy whispered back "I have an Idea but stay still". Derpy turned around and pulled a muffin out of Carrot Top's satchel. She held the muffin in her hoof and pulled back. She quickly threw it at the caped spider, the muffin hit the spider's face and immediately dropped to the floor.
Carrot Top turned to Derpy and shouted, "That was your idea"! She quickly covered her mouth and looked around to see the spiders come out of a daze and start running towards them. Derpy flicked around she saw a spider coming down from off the ceiling towards them. Derpy grabbed another muffin from Carrot Top's bag and threw it at the spider. Even though her eyes are crossed she still had amazing aim. The muffin hit the spider and sent it flying at the wall where it hit a button shaped rock.
Suddenly the walls started to shake like the room would explode. Then a large and loud metal gear sounded from the walls. The chorus of these gear like sounds echoed and filled the room until it got quieter. Carrot Top started to whisper to Derpy if she heard water running. Everything in the room seemed to turn and look at the wall when another loud gear sound came from the wall. The wall started to move like they were shifting out of the way of a monster. The spiders started to cry and all spiders moved on to the walls and out of the way and off the ground.
Derpy saw this as an opportunity and shouted, "Run." They both heard the gears again and turned to see what was behind the wall. Like a tsunami had taken over a beach water was pouring out the wall while spiders ran off the ground and onto the ceiling out of fear but now they were above them. They both started to run to the building in the cave. As they crashed through the doors Derpy shut the door behind Carrot Top, they both started to look around the room to find something to hold the door shut. Derpy flew over to the corner and found a large flat tablet. The tablet looked special to the room, it was carved and placed on a shelf to be displayed. The tablet held the door shut as the door was pounded on. The spiders were screaming like a banshee upon the door.
They both sighed and fell down onto the floor both exhausted and eyes closed they laughed. Once they opened their eyes in front of them stood the army of spiders, looking up Carrot Top realized that there were windows in the top of the building. The both hopped up. Derpy grabbed Carrot top and flew her to the top of the building dodging spiders left and right. Derpy saw a door and flew for it, the caped spider jumped in the way Derpy thew Carrot Top up while she slid underneath the spider as in a daring do book. She caught Carrot Top and flew through the chains and shut the door.
As Derpy and Carrot Top caught their breath but felt a presence in the black room. Derpy started feeling around when she saw a blue trail of magic that seemed to glow more that usual unicorn's magic. In a blink of an eye, the room was illuminated by torches. Derpy fell back seeing a tall mare in front of her that looked like an alicorn because of her posture and her size. Around the room there were chains hanging from the ceiling and a mural of the princesses was on the back wall near a doorway. The mare was orange and had faded blue hair that moved like the princesses. As Carrot Top helped Derpy up, but she could only feel amazed by this orange mare's presence. The mare was a light orange and her hair moved around like the princesses hair. On her head, there was a black crown that had chains that wrapped around her neck. Carrot Top's eyes seemed to gleam when she saw her but to not want to embarrass herself she looked back at Derpy and started jolting her eyes back at the mare urging her to talk to the mare.
The only word that Derpy could get out was "Hi". The mare returned the greeting by saying hello back.
The mare turned to Carrot Top and asked, "What are you doing here it is not safe anywhere in the kingdom". Derpy started to tell the story of what happened while Carrot Top couldn't take her eyes of the mare.
As soon as Derpy stopped talking Carrot Top asked, "Where are we, and who are you". The mare only replied by saying Acheron.
Carrot Top looked at her with confusion and asked, "Is that the name of the city or your name".
The mare said the city was named after her so it is both" she went on to say "It's been a long time since I've had visitors the last visitor was princess luna".
Derpy shouted, "You got to talk with princess luna". Acheron replied, "Luna was one of my best friends but that was long ago". Acheron saying that only made Carrot Top's admire her more. Then a screeching noise came from behind them, the spiders were getting through the chains.
Acheron said quickly "come with me". They quickly ran through the hallways of the castle where both spiders and skeletons started to wake up. Acheron started casting magic bolts of blue light hit skeletons exploding them and hit spiders turning them into balloons. Derpy stopped them and shouted, "How can you cast magic your an Earth Pony.
Carrot Top got angry for saying something like that and shouted and Derpy " That's pony racist... ponycist". Acheron shouted, " It doesn't matter just go"! They rushed through an entry way and came to a hall filled with water.
They got on to a boat and pushed off. All of the spiders followings came to a stop at the water's edge. They all took the time to catch their breath and to laugh at the fact that they made it out alive. Derpy and Carrot Top turn around and both jaws drop immediately when they saw a frozen city. There were houses and shops and roofs made of straw. The city was covered in a light blue maze.
Derpy walked to the front of the boat where the lantern was shining warmly while Acheron and Carrot Top stood at the back. Carrot Top kept asking more and more questions to Acheron about the city and what happened. Acheron told of a city that was great and wonderful. Even though most of the city was underground the ponies who lived there were never cold and alone in the dark, in fact, many shops and houses were built in the city of Acheron. One day a darkness came and rolled over the city bringing the snow and the ice, it also brought an evil queen with it . The queen was as cold as the ice and frost that she brought while her heart was split into three. For five days in snowed and made frost but that wasn't the worst part, then the wendigo 's came and froze most of the civilians, but by the time the princesses showed up it was too late.
Derpy had overheard the conversation and listened to the story. Carrot Top asked what happened to the queen. Acheron said she was frozen in the middle of the city and will sleep there forever more. Derpy listening in got more envious because Carrot Top was her friend and now she was paying more attention to Acheron then any pony else ever. Derpy started thinking about the story and thought of how Acheron described the queen. Derpy got more and more suspicious when she finally asked how the queen would break free. Acheron said, " If any pony is brought near the Queen it will replace her with whoever it is".
Derpy followed up by asking "where are we going"? Acheron asked why Derpy was asking so many questions. This made her even more angry Derpy shouted " Carrot Top has been asking you questions for the last forty minutes and you didn't ask her why"! Derpy flew off while Carrot Top told her to come back. Acheron told Carrot Top that Derpy would be fine and she just needs to blow off some steam.
Derpy was use to it being warm flying off made her regret doing so. When she found a place that wasn't too cold she noticed something a distance behind the boat in the fog. There were two yellow dots hiding in the fog, they would turn whitish blue and back to yellow. It popped out of the fog for a second and went back . It didn't take a second look to realize they were being followed by wendigos, they had stayed here. Derpy heard something behind her when she realized she had been followed too. She tried to fly but her wings were to cold. She jumped down and started moving her wings to warm them up. She started shouting to Carrot Top, "There are wendigos following you!"
Acheron turned around to see three wendigos behind them in the fog. The wendigos roared up out of the fog and let out a furious sound. The wendigos started surrounding the boat and started going round in circles. Acheron shouted, "There freezing the boat"! Carrot Top looked over the side and saw the boat gaining more and more frost and ice.
Carrot Top screamed, "What do we do"! Acheron stopped to think what to do when she popped up. Acheron ran to the front of the boat and grabbed the lantern and tossed it to Carrot Top. Carrot Top let out a small shriek unaware the lantern was being tossed to her. Carrot Top jumped to catch it while on land Derpy was still being pursued.
Acheron yelled to Derpy "Get on to the boat you have to be on before we get to the next house"! Derpy running along the path shouted back "I can't my wings are too cold and I can't jump that far."
Acheron shouted back "Trust me I know you can make it !" Derpy ,still contemplating whether Acheron can be trusted or not, took the chance and jumped. Acheron yelled to Carrot Top "throw it now"! Carrot Top gave Acheron a quick trusting nod and threw it off of the boat as hard as she could, suddenly a fire spurred around them from hitting the windigos. Acheron ran over to another edge of the boat where she put one hoof on the edge and one out. The explosion of the fire heated of Derpy as Acheron leaned out using one hoof to pull her onto the boat.
Acheron said with an arrogant smirk "I told you to trust me"
"Thank you I'm sorry I doubted you," Derpy said while panting. Acheron looks ahead and says with a stern face says, "Were here."
Derpy remembered and asked again "Where did you say we were going"? Acheron hushes both Derpy and Carrot Top with a stare. Derpy looked ahead to see a rounded cave that was just above head level and at the end came a blue light. As they entered both Carrot Top and Derpy notice that Acheron's hair lit up the cave. When they came out of the other side a huge spiral staircase stood in front of them.
Acheron says with a quiet voice "Now all we need to do is go all the way up". Derpy started to speak when Acheron stopped her by saying "There are monsters nearby that have an amazing hearing".
As they all walked up the stone stairs Derpy noticed pictures on the wall carved from stone. The pictures showed a wendigo turning soldiers into skeletons. As they reached the top they came to a big door with fancy symbols on it.
As Acheron reached the door she told both Derpy and Carrot Top to stand back. From the black crown came whips of blue magic that struck out to touch the door. As soon as they touched they started turning the door blue when the blue collided with the gold the door opened. Acheron told them again in the same quiet voice "Stay quiet I'll be right behind you I need to lock the door". Carrot Top crouched down as she started walking through the door while Derpy walked normally. Carrot Top kept crouching until the door shut when the only path of light became darkness. Carrot Top whispered, "Where are you Acheron, how far do we walk". Carrot Top became more scared as they walked until she bumped into something.
Carrot Top put up her hooves and felt what she ran into, it was cold and it felt like glass. As Carrot Top looked into the glass Derpy asked what it was.
Carrot Top replied, "I know you to well, the apology you said to Acheron was a lie". Derpy sighed and said, "Yeah I know I'm sorry and for real this time, I'm just not going to tell her". Carrot Top turned and nodded to acknowledge that she knew the apology was sincere. Carrot Top was about to speak when Derpy said to turn around.
Within the glass came a blue light, then roaring sounds and giant red dots surrounded them. The blue light turned into a ball and floated up the glass wall when it came out. Blue lightning struck out and hit Carrot Top over and over again when Acheron appeared behind Derpy.
Acheron smirked and said, "You were right to be suspicious about me and I fooled you, I just need to bring you close enough to my other self to free me". Acheron melted before Derpy's eyes. Derpy turned around to see a blue cloud of smoke and a firestorm above her in the sky. Carrot Top was floating in the air being shocked more and more from the blue lightning when skeleton ponies rushed into view and started pushing Derpy back.
Derpy cried " Let me go I need to save my friend"! Suddenly a wall of ice shot out and covered the skeletons, saving Derpy.
As the room grew brighter Derpy saw huge dragons being turned to ice, the cried out in pain and tried to melt the ice with their fire but soon fell to it. Derpy in an unconscious thought yelled out "Acheron I'm going to kill you"! Derpy fell into a maze of her own thought. Derpy could not hold back her own wall of tears as she ran from the collapse of her sanity. Derpy turned around to see Acheron step out of the blue cloud, she was different. She was now a chalky white and her hair had turned to sharp ends that moved in quick jolts. Derpy ran back to the door and pushed it open all she heard was Acheron shout "Don't open that door"!
As Derpy pushed her way through the door she noticed the room wasn't the same but she felt different as well. Her head began to swell and her eyes grew weary. She started to feel dizzy and she felt like she was floating. All weight had fallen off her as she floated into the air. Colors were easily seen while the world spun around her, a black void took her to a laze. She felt a sudden punch of pain on her shoulder when she saw nothing there. She drifted through the never ending void of darkness when she could make something out in the distance in was some sort of rock.
As she floated towards it, she noticed it was a room made of stone. Though there was no sort of fireplace it still seemed warm. As she entered the room she started feeling the temperature drop as the wall she came through diapered. There was a heat source somewhere in the room but whenever she walked towards the heat it moved. When she finally gave up on finding the heat source she noticed a pony standing outside in the snow. Derpy walked over to him, when she got there she asked why he was standing in the snow rather than inside. The pony didn't respond, he might not be responding because of his hood being in the war or something.
Derpy reached to tap him on the shoulder when he turned his head she was scared to see another skeleton pony but she stood firm. The pony took off his hood and just looked at Derpy.
Derpy said, " Thank you for saving me I really appreciate it". The pony just turned his head and looked off into the distance. Derpy looked the same way and asked, "where are we". The pony said Acheron but started rambling other words quietly. Derpy was surprised to hear a skeleton pony talk.
She asked, "who are you". The pony replied I'm one of the soldiers who died by the evil queen. He started shaking when he suddenly burst into flames. Derpy cried out and ran back into the room but there were already burning ponies there. Derpy was now surrounded by skeleton ponies on fire
Derpy tripped and fell down into a small hole when she again was surrounded by the void. As she fell aimlessly through it, she hit a cold glass wall and it was brighter outside too. She realized it was the ice cone thing that Acheron came out of. When she looked around there was snow everywhere on the ground. As she took quick breaths she could see her own breaths in front of her. The snow was falling gently with a calm wind swirling the white specks in the air. She looked back at the cone to see Carrot Top trapped in the ice cage. She turned around once again to see Acheron but she looked like she was going crazy. Derpy shouted at Acheron "let her go"!
Acheron looked at her and just replied with "What do you want"? Derpy got angrier and ran at her to hit her. When her hair came to a point and stabbed straight through her body. Derpy coughed and gasped for air as she started to feel limp she saw the colors fade once again as she fell to the ground.
Derpy screamed out as she woke up in a cold sweat. As she caught her breath she looked around the room she was in. There were candles lighting different paintings all around the room all showing portraits of Acheron or the princesses. As Derpy continued to look around the room she noticed a door that was cracked open just enough to let a sliver of light show through. Derpy cried out in agony as she tried to get up she looked over her shoulder and noticed it was bandaged up. Derpy looked at the door to see it open she cried out when she saw the giant spider on the other side.
It started yelling "It's all your fault", as he swung his massive body through the door. Derpy was crawling back as fast as she could but the spider made quick steps to her. He raised up one of his legs to hit her when a voice from behind shouted: "Stop"! Both the spider and Derpy looked around to see a skeleton pony.
The spider looked back at Derpy and trudged out of the room. The skeleton walked over to Derpy and just started but something was different about this skeleton. His eyes weren't red and he had armour. He spoke in a soft voice that seemed to be an Irish accent but seemed to stay serious. He spoke saying, "You were very stupid to try to enter that door, you were poisoned as soon as you entered". "You fell down the stairs and broke your shoulder bone". "We carried you here to a safer part of the kingdom, you were making a lot of noise in your sleep". Derpy finally had time to speak as she told the skeleton about what happened in the dream.
As she finished her last sentence the skeleton looked up and ran out of the room. When he came back he had a bag full of different armor and other items.
Derpy asked as he ran back into the room "What is wrong, what happened." He replied saying, "The queen is readying another army." "One more question, what is your name?" Derpy asked quickly
"My name is Ration, and yours is Derpy am I correct?" Derpy nodded as Ration handed her the armor. "Why do I need this?"
Ration replied in a sense of worriment "It has regenerative powers just put it on it'll heal you faster." Derpy was about to speak again when Ration stopped her to ask "Do you always ask so many questions?"
Derpy blushed looked away and said, "I ask the perfect amount of questions." As Derpy got her armor on she notice the seams and laces were very finely made. Even thought it was leather it seemed to fit snugly around her body and it let her wings move freely outside of the suit. As she put on the helmet her mane came out the top like the helmet she had in the cave.
Ration shouted from down the hall "It's time to go!" Derpy ran down the hall and turned the corner and almost ran into Ration. Derpy walked forward to the rails and looked out over them. In front of them was a massive crowd of skeletons and monsters. Ration turned to Derpy and said, "We are what is left of the army against the queen and we will gladly give our souls to end this war."
"Come now we must train," Ration said in a serious manner.
As Ration led Derpy down a long hallway she decided to ask "Why was that spider so angry at me?"
"I am slightly angry at you too for the same reason, you freed the queen and now she is attacking."
"I'm sorry I honestly didn't mean to," Derpy said sorrowfully.
"I know you are sorry but Edgar, the spider you met, does not feel the same."
As they entered through a doorway and into the courtyard it became colder and brighter. The yard was covered in fresh snow and frozen plants. There was also a large group of skeletons and creatures training with swords. At about half way into the courtyard, all the skeletons and creatures had stopped and were staring Derpy and ration down. When they arrived at a stone staircase Derpy turned her head and saw them all following her. As they reached the top Derpy's jaw dropped to see a whole town on the other side of the wall. Derpy turned to the left to see Edgar, skeletons and other spiders standing near another doorway. One of the spiders had a staff that gleamed red and gave out heat. Ration spoke out loud and clear saying "Now we will fight until one of us is left unarmed."
Derpy's face went pale when she saw a spider carrying real swords towards them instead of wooden swords. As Derpy went to speak in rebellion a huge cloud came into view and it started to rain, then a loud roar came from off in the distance.
Derpy let out a loud shriek at the loud roar "What was that." she almost yelled. Ration spoke firmly saying that it was a dragon and that it wasn't to be feared of. One of the spiders came up and handed both Derpy and Ration swords. The swords looked similar but had different designs in the handle. Derpy took the sword up in her mouth which was very uncomfortable when something sparked in her. She felt for once in her life she was going to do good at something and that she could be trusted.
The duel seemed to go on for hours until Derpy was breathing hard and Ration was left standing. Derpy was about to spit the sword out and give up when the spark came again. It made her feel better. She caught her breath and smiled, suddenly the sword caught fire. Derpy stared at it in amazement, "Did I do that" she thought to herself. Derpy flew up, doing a barrel roll in the air and came back down towards Ration. Ration held up his blade preparing for the impact. When the two blades struck Rations sword turned to ashes in a blink of an eye. Every skeleton spider and creature was staring at the pile of ashes that was sitting near Ration. Ration spoke up saying "You have the heart to fuel the blades of inferno, we might be able to win this war."
Across the kingdom storms were brewing and blizzards were raging. As more snow fell more of it turned to ice. Acheron lay upon her frozen trophy, Carrot Top, as she shouted, "Let me go or else!"
"I am saving your life dear if you were outside of the cone you would surely freeze, or be eaten," Acheron said in a noble manner.
Carrot Top gave her a confused look and asked "Eaten by what?" Acheron laughed and turned away from Carrot Top, at the top of her lungs she started shouting a foreign language. The storms swirled rapidly now and started moving down towards the earth. It started to snow more and more quickly as it turned to Ice when four columns appeared in front of her. They were straight, smooth and had symbols. Acheron walked up to them raised her hoof. Suddenly all four of them shattered at once. Four monsters appeared out of the snow. They were completely blue, but different shades for other parts around the body.
Carrot Top shouted, "Why did you laugh at just making four, that can't take down my friend."
Acheron smiled and said, "Turn around." Carrot Top turned around and fell down to the sight of an army of frozen monsters. "You can see now why I laughed, there is no pony or monster who can save her now," Acheron shouted. Suddenly she let out a shriek and fell to the ground. As she stared at the ground she started to smile.
Carrot Top asked both scared and curious "What happened?" Acheron turned her head slightly only enough for Carrot Top to see her evil grin. She jumped up, which surprised Carrot Top, and let out a hideous laugh. The more she laughed the more insane she sounded. She turned to Carrot Top with the same crazed smile on her face and started strutting towards her changing her facial expression with every step. She reached the cone she screamed loudly in Carrot Top's face. Carrot Top fell back seeing that her eyes were changing colors. She let out one more shriek as she fell to the ground.
She sat up from the snow and put her hoof over her head and sighed. She got up and sat with her back on the cone. She seemed calmer as she spoke now. She spoke softly saying, "If I ever go crazy like that again for your friends sake whisper this word into my ear." She turned to Carrot Top and told her two words. Carrot Top asked what they meant but Acheron did not reply.
As Derpy walked down the stairs with a smile on her face and newly found friends at her back she realized that she had done something that made other people like her for once. Ration ran up from behind her and said, "You did good I'm proud of you."
As soon as these words reached her ears she blushed smiled and said "Thank you, I feel like I did something good today."
Ration got closer to Derpy as they walked and whispered into her ear "I think even Edgar was happy to see you win." As they retuned to the building Ration led the way to a great hall filled with different cups and plates on a long wooden table. The table had a cloth spread over it that was white and had golden edges.
Derpy flew over to a chair when Ration called out "it's not time to eat yet." Ration kept walking while Derpy could only think of how hungry she was. As Ration entered another doorway Derpy looked behind herself to see no one was there. Derpy flew to catch up to Ration when he stopped to talk to a small spider. They were talking in a different langue, when the spider left Ration turned to Derpy and said "Lets get that armor off and let it dry." Derpy blushed and gave off a nervous smile when her winds puffed up behind her. She quickly used her arms to hold them down as she scooted herself into another room.
Derpy came out five minutes later and apologized to Ration he laughed and motioned his arm towards another door. Derpy came to the door and opened in, as she entered spiders and skeletons applauded her.
Ration called from behind her and told her "I'm sorry I have to go for a minute I'll see you later." Ration shut the door behind him Derpy wanted to tell him to stay but knew he probably had something important to do. Derpy turned around and started walking towards the fireplace where she laid down to rest. A skeleton wearing a white shirt came up to Derpy and asked her if she was hungry. Derpy didn't want to say she was hungry but, then her stomach made a rumbling sound and she nodded. The pony walked out of the room and came back five minutes later. He walked over to the fire and started cooking some food. He walked around the room serving the spiders and then came to Derpy. The skeleton apologized that they didn't have very much food for vegetarians considering they didn't have to feed the skeletons and the spiders ate meat.
Derpy was eating some of the very few berries and bits of grass the skeleton offered her when Edgar called for her. Derpy got up and walked over to the fire where he was hanging by some web. He reached around her with of his longer legs and pulled her closer, he whispered in her ear "I'm sorry for getting so angry." Derpy smiled and reached up to his back and pulled him closer. Derpy turned to him and asked what the symbol was on his white cape. He told her a story of the war and the battalion and how the symbol was made.
Carrot Top pounded on the ice wall as she shouted "You have to stop this Derpy will get killed!"
Acheron turned to Carrot Top walked over and put her hoof on the ice and said, "Your friend Derpy already has plans to kill me."
Carrot Top leaned back and chuckled "Derpy isn't a killer and, to be honest, the only time she killed something was when she tripped and landed on a mouse."
Acheron laughed and said, "Anyways she won't be killed at the start of the invasion she already has allies."
Carrot Top started to think about Acheron and asked, "Why are you so well like you, evil?"
Acheron turned to her one again and said, "I was hoping you would ask." Acheron ran over to the ice and put her hoof on it. Suddenly Carrot Top and Acheron were surrounded by a swirling wall of snow the faster it turned the more colors Carrot Top saw. Soon Acheron faded into the wall of snow. Carrot Top had moved and somewhere and noted that the ice wall was gone and she could move freely. She had been teleported onto a mountain or hill that was covered in snow.
Carrot Top heard noises of metal clanking off in the distance so she said to herself "There are ponies over there and they can help me get home after we find Derpy." Out of the corner of her eye, she saw something blue, when she turned her head she saw Acheron.
Carrot Top nervously walked over to her when Acheron said "You don't have to be afraid I can't physically hurt you here."
Carrot Top walked up beside Acheron above a giant field and asked, "Where are we, what is this battle." Acheron smiled and said "This is a memory and this was the battle for Acheron, I had just come out of the city and was greeted by Celestia's and Luna's army. Carrot Top looked up at her and asked, "What is the name of the battle?"
Acheron sighed and frowned and said, "It's the battle of Snowdrop."
Carrot Top shot her a confused look and said, "Those were the two words snow and drop, but why would this make you mentally stable?"
Acheron turned to Carrot Top and started walking quickly at her while yelling, "You think this is why, do you think this was...". Acheron sighed and collapsed upon the ground. She looked up at Carrot Top and said, "This is all my fault." Carrot Top was confused but she didn't want to make her, even more, angry so she watched the battle.
As she looked over the battle she noticed a giant spider with armor. It had a cape that was white as the snow around her, It had a black cross on it too. The spider had four swords and was walking on its middle four legs two in front and two in the back. The armor came to sharp points in middle arms which it was using to keep back the snow creatures. There was another hill on the other side from which more and more snow creatures came. Then a massive one came into view. The spider turned and started heading right towards it. They fought for a few minutes until the snow creature fell down. All of a sudden Acheron appeared on the other side and was leading the creatures. The princesses came down from out of the sky and froze her in the cone. The wind picked up and started swirling around Carrot Top. Once again the colors changed and she teleported. Carrot Top looked up to find herself in the cone again.
Derpy had just woken up from a nap when Ration came in and asked her to take a shift at the front wall. Ration was just about to leave when he turned around and said "Sorry I didn't say good morning but today is busy for all of us.
Derpy asked, "I wasn't told anything, what is happening?"
Ration spoke in a serious voice "Were moving the army out, were attacking today."
Ration started walking out of the room when Derpy ran up to her. "Is there anything I can do to help out the army."
"Derpy I appreciate that you want to help but the shift at the wall is all we need." Ration replied just as quick as her question. Derpy sat back down and sighed.
Ration was walking quickly through the hall when the spider with the staff accompanied him in his walk and said "The cooks have packed seven days worth of food for all of the spiders.
Ration replied, " I see your back in work Rosemary, are you all healed up?"
Rosemary looked up at him," I am and the doctor said I will be able to fight soon."
Ration nodded and asked, "Are the fire birds loaded up on ammunition and inside the gates?" "They have ammunition but not all are at the gate."
"Get them to the gate and have troop 2.32 load the banners onto the cart at the second wall another thing, I'm really glad your back because you are the best scribe we have ever had."
"Thank you, sir, see you at the wall at noon."
Ration ran past some spiders that were wearing armor and into a room that was full of brass tubes. There were two skeleton ponies standing in front of some of the pipes, one of them turned around and said "Troop 2.32 have placed the banners at the second wall the firebirds are all loaded up and Edgar has supplied all of the spiders and skeletons in his group with armor."
Ration nodded a thank you, "Ok, I need to send a message to the main wall." The pony stepped out of the way and pointed to a pipe. Ration leaned up to the pipe and said in a loud voice " Derpy are you at the wall?" A few seconds past when Ration heard a quiet voice. Ration spoke again "Derpy are you at the wall?"
Ration heard Derpy say through a large pipe nearer to the top of the room, "Oh is this an instant message thing?" Ration sook his head and smiled a tiny bit. "Derpy just speak into the pipe if you need anything, but I'm coming over to the wall."
Ration ran out of the room when he heard a loud voice overhead say "Attention every pony every skeleton and every spider we are meeting at the main wall in twenty minutes." This made Ration run even faster.
As Ration reached the wall Derpy hugged him and said, "Did you come to watch the wall with me?" Ration replied quickly "No I have a very important mission for you." Derpy looked at him with a scared expression. The time had come the army was heading out of the walls. There were massive fire birds flying above the army while Ration was at the front. The frozen lake was beside the army with Rosemary standing on a boat above them. Derpy was nowhere to be found.
Edgar walked up to Ration at the front of the army and said, "Where are Derpy she was nowhere to be found and one of the troops are missing."
Ration spoke quietly as he leaned closer to Edgar "I have sent her on a scouting mission and she will not be joining us for the battle, I can't have her actually fight"
"Acheron isn't this a bit much to kill one pony" Carrot Top yelled tiredly.
Acheron turned to Carrot Top and said, "She has an army at her back and is planning to kill me also I'm not only going to kill her."
Carrot Top gave off a small smile and said, "What are you going to kill the princesses" after a few seconds of silence Carrot Top sat up and said, "You aren't going to kill the princesses are you?"
Acheron laughed and sighed "I'm only going to kill Celestia, Luna never did me any wrong." Carrot Top sat back down and gave a sarcastic frown. Carrot Top turned around and watched as Acheron's army got bigger and so did the creatures.
"How far do we have to go it's getting to cold for me to fly" Derpy shouted over the swirling wind.
"We have to go all the way to the summit" a skeleton with a large backpack shouted.
Another skeleton ran to catch up to Derpy "Here take this it should help you stay warm." The skeleton handed her a blanket that was just plain white but had different stitching in each corner.
Derpy thanked him when the other skeleton shouted "Come on we still have a while. Derpy wrapped the blanket around herself like a cloak. Derpy ran up to the skeleton as they kept marching through the snow.
"It's been hours since she has had a break," said the skeleton who had handed Derpy the blanket.
"I guess that is true and it's getting dark" The skeleton leaned down and took off his backpack. He smiled and shouted to derpy "Want to see something you have never seen before"? Derpy looked confused as she walked over to him. The skeleton lifted the backpack up and slammed it on the ground suddenly four bars stuck out of the bag and formed a cone. Cloth came out of the bag and covered the pole creating a small tent. Derpy smiled in awe, she walked around inspecting the outside of the tent.
The skeleton shouted, "We can wait out here but you can stay in there." Derpy thanked him and got inside, the tent didn't have a bottom layer to separate derpy from the snow so she used the cloak instead.
Derpy popped her head out of the tent, "What were your names?"
The skeleton who had the backpack on shouted back, "I am Barry and he is John." Derpy nodded and retreated back into the tent. Derpy looked up to see the bag at the top of the tent so she reached up and went through it. She found some food and water but noticed a smaller bag in the bottom. she pulled it out and opened it but before she got the chance to look inside she heard a loud roar from outside. She picked up the blanket shook it off and put it on herself. When she poked her head outside the tent John covered her mouth. Derpy nodded and got out of the tent she looked in the direction of the noise to see giant ice monsters.
Acheron turned around and shouted at Carrot Top "Stop complaining I can let you out again later." Carrot Top sighed and slumped back down against the ice wall. Carrot Top frowned got up laid back down and let out a moan of discomfort. Acheron sat down and put her hooves over her ears. "Fine!" Acheron shouted. The cone opened up and Carrot Top walked out smiling, she took a deep breath and let it out. She started doing stretches when she heard some of her bones pop which made her chuckle. Carrot Top looked back over at Acheron who was still sitting down. Carrot Top turned her head sideways and noticed that Acheron was shaking.
Carrot Top smiled and laughed "Are you cold." Acheron didn't say anything back so Carrot Top started walking towards her. She noticed she was quietly laughing. Carrot Top suddenly grew pale, she knew what was going to happen. She started backing up slowly trying not to make any noise but the snow made soft crunch noises under her hooves. Acheron turned around with an evil smile. Acheron's hair was moving much differently now, it was making quick jolting movements. Carrot Top remembered the two words and quickly shouted them out "Snow Drop!"
Acheron laughed and shouted, "Got you." She fell over holding her stomach as she laughed more while pointing at Carrot Top ith her hoof. When she stopped laughing she wiped some tears off of her face and said: "You were so scared and that face was priceless." Carrot Top had a headful of emotions, She was angry, scared and embarrassed. Carrot Top dove from her standpoint upon Acheron sending them both to the ground. They rolled around on the ground as they were trying to pin each other. After a minute both they were laying side by side laughing.
Acheron popped up and held a hoof to her chin while thinking, "I have an idea!"
Carrot Top sat up and asked, "Did I give you this idea by wrestling you?"
Acheron blushed and scrunched up her snout "No why would you think that." Acheron ran up to the top of a small hill and started making four Ice creatures except they were massive. Carrot Top followed her up the hill and as she got to the top her jaw dropped. The creatures were horrifying and strange. Two of them resembled ponies while another looked like a bird with a snout of a dog and the last just looked like a massive dog. They started getting bigger and bigger.
Carrot Top began to slowly back up while saying "Are you sure they need to be so big?" Acheron let out crazed laughs while doing so. The monsters cast shadows on both Carrot Top and Acheron.
Derpy shouted at the top of her lungs "When can we start moving again!"
Barry shouted back "We have to wait until the storm dies down!" Derpy frowned and climbed back inside of the tent. The longer she listened to the wind howl outside the more she grew restless. Derpy looked up and saw the backpack, she laughed at herself for forgetting about it. She reached up and pulled out the small bag once again. She pulled it out and set it on the cloak. The bag was a manila color and had strings tied together keeping it shut. Derpy knew she probably shouldn't go through their bag but she was too curious. She pulled apart the strings and out came a small letter, she picked it up and read quietly aloud
"Dear Derpy this bag was meant for you, this contains the armor plus some more and your sword. The sword is not hot around the area of the metal but it is hot to the touch. Sincerely Ration" Derpy put the letter aside and began pulling out different pieces of armor. She found the armor that she had gotten from her first fight. The leather still smelled the same and the markings were still amazing, but she noticed that the other pieces of armor seemed to fit on to it like a puzzle. The other pieces were golden and had black paint around some edges. As she placed the golden pieces on the leather they seemed to glow. As she placed the last piece on the armor it lit on fire but was only the edges were inflamed. Derpy quickly got it off the cloak and onto the snow. A small sizzle sound came from underneath the armor which made Derpy laugh.
As the armor laid in the snow she saw the small bag start to glow as well. Derpy opened up the bag and looked inside, she saw a sword inside a sheath that was glowing. Derpy looked at it for a second to see if see was dreaming. She waited and it kept glowing so she reached into the bag and pulled it out. The sheath was leather and the handle looked familiar, she pulled the sword out and it was her own sword. The blade of inferno was just a part of the armor set. Derpy realized that the armor would surely keep her warm. She put on the armor, resheathed her sword and put her cloak over it. Derpy reached up and got some food out of the bag. As she was eating she noticed the fire wasn't catching the cloak on fire. Derpy decided she didn't have to tell the skeletons about it. Derpy kept eating and remembered the bag, the more she thought about it the more she questioned it. "How did all that armor fit in that bag," she thought to herself. She got it out of the backpack and realized it was bigger on the inside.
Derpy knew what she would do. She reached up and pressed a small button on the backpack at the top of the tent suddenly the tent popped back together and both skeletons fell on their backs. Derpy blushed and helped them up and told them she was ready to go. Two hours passed as they walked through the snow. Soon after the two-hour mark Barry looked back to see Derpy's red cheks. When they turned around a corner at the top of the hill they were at Barry jumped onto Derpy sending them both tumbling down the hill. Derpy pushed her hooves out at the right time sending Barry out and into the air which gave her enough time to fly up into the air. The skeleton landed on his hooves right next to a sharp drop. He pulled a metal rod with two prongs out of a pocket in the backpack placed it on the ground and pressed a button. A rock came shooting out of it which released a small net which caught Derpy's wings. Derpy hit the ground hard and slid down the hill.
John pushed Barry out of the way and jumped to catch derpy but it was too late. He only hard the scream of Derpy fade into the snowy pit below them. He got off and away from the cliff, he fell onto the ground and started yelling, "What in Tartarus were you thinking?"
Barry looked down at him with sorrow and said, "She was already dead."
John looked up at him, "What do you mean she was already dead?"
Barry sat down next to john and wrapped a hoof around him and said "She wasn't cold for the two hours we walked, how do you think a weak pony could do that, she was obviously an ice spy" John got up and walked to the ledge and picked up the small bag that was Derpy's. They kept walking until they reached a camp. Ration was waiting eagerly for them to arrive.
Ration looked confused and asked, "Where is Derpy?" The skeletons looked at each other until John spoke up, "She was an ice spy, we don't know when she was switched."
Ration yelled, "How did you tell she wasn't Derpy!"
John, "She wasn't cold for two hours after we took a break."
Ration asked, "What did you do to her?" He frowned and said sorrowfully "We tied her wings and she fell off a cliff."
Ration fell to the ground started crying and saying over and over again this is my fault.
"What is wrong," they asked.
"I gave her the infinity bag and put the armor of inferno in there, that is why she wasn't cold."
John pulled the rod again and placed it on his rib cage, ''Ration I'm sorry please take my life." Suddenly the bag started moving when all of a sudden the rod went flying out of his hands.
A voice came from above saying "You don't have to kill yourself for me." They all looked up to see Derpy flying above them in the air. Ration got up and tried to toughen up from his embarassing moment. Derpy flew down and gave Ration a hug, Derpy cried into his ear "Your one of the few people who loves me like that."
Ration wraped his arm aroud Derpy and said "I thought I had killed you." Ration pulled back and said "We need to get moving to the mountains, that is where the queen has her army."
Ration shouted at the top of his lungs "The pass is just one more mile!" The army was marching through a horrible blizzard even worse than before. Derpy walked with Ration at the front of the army.
Rosemay walked up to Ration, "The firebirds are being delayed by the storm, we might not have their help." Finally, they had reached the pass. Derpy flew ahead quickly and what she saw made her jaw drop.
Ration quickly caught up to her and when he saw it he whispered: "Let the princesses have mercy on our souls." Derpy added, "And that really big three headed dog". In front of them was an ice army that stretched as far as they could see. The army walked down the hill and onto the rock field in front of them. Neither of the parties ran at each other, just waited for the other to speak. Derpy walked slowly onto the field, she could see Carrot Top in the cone. Derpy gasped to see her fine and alive. Carrot Top would say something but she knew Derpy would not hear her. Acheron finally spoke up "I have Carrot Top and we have a friendship now whether you believe it or not." Derpy's face grew red with anger, she walked over to Acheron and unsheathed her sword.
"Let her go now, and no pony has to die". Acheron laughed and said, "You don't know do you"? Derpy flew up into the air as fast as she could, she climbed and climbed until she was ready. Derpy gave looked straight down and started flying down as fast as she could. Derpy closed her eyes and screamed out with the sword in her mouth. She started spinning as all time slowed down for her as she flew straight down, she looked around at all the confused faces wondering what she was doing. Suddenly there was a fire in Derpy's heart and her eyes. She flew down faster and faster until she pulled up. A whiplash of fire circled around her. She did flip and landed on the ground. She looked up and smiled. The sky was lit with fire, a circle of fire had burned the clouds and a small ring of fire lit around Derpy now.
Derpy was breathing hard now as she smiled. She said, "Ponies always said I sucked at flying but my coordination is great." Acheron only looked at her now with fear. Suddenly the sounds of fire crackling rang out from the sky. From over the mountains the firebirds had come. Derpy shouted, "Let's Go." The army behind her started running at the Ice army. Derpy ran over to Carrot Top and cut the cone in half.
Carrot Top said in a shaky voice "That was amazing, when did you learn to do that."
Derpy said "Its the blades of inferno."
Carrot Top quickly said, "Acheron isn't evil."
"What do you mean she trapped and kidnapped you?"
"Derpy don't hurt her we are friends and you don't know her story."
Acheron shouted from behind Derpy "No stop your destroying my army!" The firebirds were laying down fire bolt upon the army while the skeletons were rushing in. The spiders were shooting multiple arrows into the snow army from the hill. Acheron let out a blood-curdling scream. Suddenly the Ice army behind her turned to snow.
Derpy walked up to Acheron who was laying on the ground and said, "What is your story then." Acheron didn't speak until Carrot Top walked up to next to Derpy.
Acheron spoke softly and said, "I can't tell you my story but I can tell you my name."
Derpy looked funnily at her and said, "We already know your name."
Acheron spoke a bit louder now "You don't know my real name, its tri-heart." Derpy didn't know now what to say.
Carrot Top walked over to Acheron and sat down."I always have a carrot on me, why don't you keep it, too remember me." Acheron shot a weird look at Carrot Top when Carrot Top asked,"Why do you want to kill the princesses." Acheron reminded Carrot Top that it was only Celestia.
Derpy said, "Still it's the princesses why would you want to kill either of them." Acheron stood up and looked around like something was coming. Acheron gave off a smile and jumped into the air. A massive wave of ice covered the ground around her that sent out more and more waves shooting outwards. Derpy shouted "Run." While Derpy turned and ran she noticed Carrot Top was standing sill. Derpy turned around and threw her sword at the ground near Carrot Top. Derpy took a dive to get between the wave of ice and Carrot Top. The ice wall quickly moved over Derpy and Carrot Top. Once the ice cloud had cleared Derpy could see Acheron surfing away on a piece of ice. Derpy moved to get ready to fly after her when Carrot Top stopped her.
"Its fine I put a small tracking thing in that carrot", Carrot Top said in a comforting voice.
Derpy stepped back and slowly shook her head giving Carrot Top a smile. "We will always surprise each other won't we." Hours later the army was gathered at the main gate of the castle.
Ration walked up to Derpy and said, "It has been an honor to see you lead our army, I hope to see you again."
Derpy replied saying "If Carrot Top hadn't been kidnaped I probably wouldn't have been here so you have to thank her too."
Ration gathered some things and put it into Derpy's bag, "I want you to have these because they will help you on future adventures."
Derpy laughed and inquired "Do you really think I will be going on any more adventures?" "Are you ready to leave", Derpy asked Carrot Top.
Carrot Top smiled and said, "Let's go I'm getting tired and I have spent too much time with these skeletons to not have nightmares."
Carrot Top can you please explain everything to my family, I need to go take care of a few things. Carrot Top gave a confused face and started walking towards Derpy's house. Derpy was angry but she held it in. She boarded the train with her small bag. The train ride to the Canterlot was long but Derpy didn't care. Once she was off the train she quickly made her way to the castle where she asked to see the Princess. The guard gave her a small pile of papers and told her to go get in line. Derpy could not wait any longer so she asked where the bathroom was. The guard pointed to a the corner of the courtyard. Derpy flew over quickly, once she was inside she opened her bag and put on her armor. She unsheathed her sword and walked out. The guard immediately ran away when he saw her armor catch fire.
Derpy pushed the massive doors of the main hall aside. Inside a small militia of guards waiting for her.
Derpy laughed and said, "If you thnk I'm here to assassinate the Princess your wrong." One guard in the back pushed his way into the door behind him, moments later he returned and made his way to the front of the crowd of soldiers.
He spoke loudly saying "Celestia with have a meeting with you in five minutes" The guards made two single file lines up and down the red carpet. Once five minutes had passed the two massive doors in front of Derpy opened. Behind them was the princess standing there with a serious face. Derpy walked slowly down the red carpet when she arrived at half way the doors started to shut and the guards quickly made a circle around Derpy. Derpy sent out a small circle of fire and a bright light that went around her that made the guards back up a few feet when the guards could see again Derpy was gone.
Celestia looked down to see a small bag at her feet. It started to glow which made her back up, a flash of light covered the room. Celestia looked back to see Derpy standing at the door. Derpy turned around and rammed her sword into one door pushing it into the other.
Derpy smiled and laughed "Just us now, and I need some answers."
Celestia gave off a small smile and said I know why you are here." Derpy looked confused and asked how she knew, Celestia replied by saying "It's about Acheron, am I right." Derpy nodded.
There was a mare named Snowdrop, she found the alicorn amulet. She was consumed by the magic which was I realised how powerful it was. My sister and I freed it from her but I need to experiment with it so I let her keep it. I was hoping that Snowdrop would put it on again but her daughter found it first. I told luna that it was Snowdrop and that she had turned evil. Tri-heart tried to explain to luna but I convinced her not to listen. Derpy interrupted asking "Wait how is that possible Trixie had the alicorn amulet." Like I said I needed to experiment before I could copy it."
"So that is why she hates you so much." "I am evil and after 2,000 years I'm surprised nopony ever found out... well, my sister found out once so I sent her to the moon." Derpy laughed and said, "How about I go and tell everypony." Celestia smiled and said, "Go right ahead but it's going to be hard for anypony to believe you considering everypony loves me, also the guards will be hunting you down." GUARDS, GUARDS, Celestia started screaming at the top of her lungs. Derpy turned around grabbed her sword and bag and ran past Celestia. Derpy jumped out of the window which sent her heading straight towards the ground. At the last second, she flew up creating a large circle of fire. As she flew away from Canterlot the only thought running through her mind was "Revenge."
