This really looks to have makings of a great story. I love the back story you have created. It's brilliant and full of so much potential.
Also, as fanboyish as it may seem, I love the idea of these three secretly being reincarnating immortals and love having a story based around these them. Also Derpy standing Big Macs head was adorable.
If I have one criticism of the chapter it's that Trixie's appearance was very abrupt. You described Derpy's entrance and Big Mac's response but then suddenly Trixie was just there talking with no mention of her entrance, not even saying that "she appeared out of no where". Just keep this in mind for future character entrances.
On a side note, at first I wondered why you decided call the immortals that empowered the pegusi Valkyre but then I saw the brilliance of it. Not only were Valkyre blonde in mythology (just like derpy) but pegusi have been shown to have originally be a military based society and the Valkyre were in myth meant to carry warriors who died bravely in battle to Valhalla. Nicely done
I'm looking forward seeing more.

As a species, they don't exist, but the spirit, knowledge, and power they possessed is passed on through reincarnation. The Titan is always an Earth Pony, the Valkyrie is a pegasus, and the Shadow is a Unicorn. There is only one of each in the world.
Whether there used to be many or not, that's left for others to contemplate ^^

That is actually quite interesting. So with the reincarnations are they effectively the same entities but with different faces or is it more like Avatar the last airbender where the skills and knowledge is passed on but each incarnation is still their own person.
For instance, is Big Mac simply the titan's new face or the big mac his own entity but with the memories of all the other earth ponies that have been the titan?
With that said, I like this chapter and it certainly has grabbed my attention fully. I look forward to seeing more

Honestly, how I envision them, it's a little of both. They are their own person, but they get the experiences, including the personalities, of every pony they've been before, as well as the powers. Big Mac is the Titan, the Titan is Big Mac.
Come to think of it, there's another story I've read that uses a lot of how I envision the Titan, Valkyre, and Shadow. A Second Chance basically gives Twilight a data dump of experiences from her future self, including events, spells, and emotions. The story revolves around more how she uses that information. In the same way, I see Big Mac, Derpy, and Trixie inheriting this wealth of experience and power. Big Mac is quiet and family-oriented, Derpy keeps a careful rein on her abilities, and Trixie prefers to hide in plain sight. This is from their long lives as well as their various incarnations.
I'll says this, it's definitely one of those things that makes sense in the creator's head that is difficult to put in written form.

Okay, I think I understand. So when Big Mac 'dies', the earth pony that follows will have all of Big Mac's experiences along with the rest of the titan's memory but he will not be Big Mac, he will be someone new, sort of like the Doctor when he regenerates.
Though it does raise the question. How do the Titan, the Valkyrie and the Shadow find each other every reincarnation? Can they sense/find each other or is it more a case that they know when they meet for the first time?

i believe you rushed things, the idea its good, but the ending doesn't feel right. Is this the stories of the 3 ancients? or just the problem of the tree of harmony.
6155084 A bit of both. The 3 exist, but nobody knows them. The Tree of Harmony exists, but how it came to be is anyone's guess. This is more of a resource than just a story. It's meant for building, such as my campaign or, perhaps, someone else's stories.
The campaign I had let the PCs find a Zebra named Zecora. They thought it was coincidence and I was being unimaginative, but the background I designed made her more than a potion master. The Tree had to came from somewhere as it is unlikely the Everfree would produce something like that in its current day state. Also, creation myth, because every campaign has one.
I thought this would be a fun read as well as a backdrop for future projects. I did end it a bit quickly, but then I never planned for it to go beyond 1 chapter.
