Discord is an outwardly eccentric draconequs. Maud Pie is a highly reserved earth pony. Upon meeting her and finding out of her relation to Pinkie Pie, he takes Maud's seemingly unflinching apathetic personality as a challenge to try and get her to have a grand reaction while also attempting to try and become a friend to her. What happens when a chaotic storm meets an immovable rock? Well, hilarity probably ensues.

Thanks for a wonderful read. The interaction between Discord and Maud was hilarious and well-written. It does make sense that Discord would go out of his way to get (what he feels) more of an reaction to from Pinkie's sister.

Ever since seeing a certain comic, I have been curious what sort of interaction Discord and Maud would have with each other. This nails it. Discord is expertly written to be funny and mischievous without being malicious, Maud is subdued and stoic as always. The premise that brings them together is executed well, too. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and I'll be adding it to my list of nominees. Good luck!
