Sonata's New Friends

Chapter 2

Sonata walked home while crying all the way there making sure not to be seen by any of the students at Canterlot High at least for tonight.

Even though she knew that she wouldn't be welcomed there Sonata decided to go anyway after all maybe she could make at least one friend tomorrow if not eventually after all Sunset Shimmer used to be both hated and feared by the students at Canterlot High but after tonight when she helped The Rainbooms defeat not only her as well as Adagio and Aria a lot of that hatred and fear if not all of it was sure to be gone when tomorrow came.

Sonata knew that if anyone was willing to give her a second chance it would be Sunset Shimmer and her friends but right now she wasn't willing to face them and ask for not only their forgiveness but also for their friendship as well especially since she just lost the only two friends that she's ever had, the very same friends that she liked to think of as her sisters.

When the former Siren got home, she changed into her pajamas and went to sleep, all that crying had worn her out.

When morning came Sonata was about to wake up Adagio and Aria only to realize that they really were gone, she just hoped that deep down they would come back again.

Anyway while she was no longer crying Sonata walked all the way to school very slowly with her head down, while also wearing a hoodie as not to be seen by anyone, she wasn't her usual happy go lucky self but then after three classes something completely unexpected happened at lunch time.

At lunch time a girl named Fluffle Puff handed her a note it read "Can me and Chryssi sit with you, you seem sad and lonely?"

Sonata looked at Fluffle Puff and Chrysalis and shook her head now feeling a little bit happier but at the same time also feeling confused.

As the two girls sat down beside her Sonata asked them "Why are you being nice to me, aren't you angry or upset with me?"

Chrysalis told her "No we know what you and you're friends did but you don't have your powers anymore, we have no reason to be angry or upset with you nor do we have any reason to fear you."

Sonata then told her "But won't people think that I've put the two of you under a spell or something?"

Chrysalis was about to talk again but Fluffle Puff made raspberry noises with her tongue which Chrysalis translated "Don't worry about that we forgive you, would you like to be friends?"

Sonata said after making a big smile and the squee sound at the same time "Oh yes, yes I would very much like to be friends, thank you."

Sonata then asked after giving her two new friends a big hug "Wait a minute how can you understand her."

Chrysalis told her "Don't ask."

Sonata then asked "My name's Sonata Dusk, what's your names?"

Chrysalis told her "My name is Chrysalis, my friend's name is Fluffle Puff."

Sonata then asked her friends "Ok wow, I can't believe that I have friends already, this is so amazing, hey I brought tacos from home, do you want some?"

Chrysalis told her as she gladly took one "Sure I would love one."

Fluffle Puff then wrote down a note that read "You bet tacos are my favorite food."

Sonata then smiled upon reading Fluffle Puff's note, not only had she made two new friends but both of them liked tacos, the happy go lucky Sonata Dusk has finally returned.

After three more classes school finally got out and Sonata asked Chrysalis and Fluffle Puff if they could go back to her house and hang out together as friends and both of them agreed.

Anyway the three best friends, watched t.v. together, played both board games as well as video games together and even ate dinner together when they were about to leave Sonata was upset that she would be living alone from now on and they could see this.

Not wanting to upset their new friend Chrysalis asked Sonata if she wanted to pack her things and move in with her and Fluffle Puff and the former Siren happily agreed but only if they spent the night over at her current house and both Chrysalis and Fluffle Puff agreed to this condition.

When morning came the former Siren had packed her things, got in Chrysalis's car and drove over to Chrysalis's and Fluffle Puff's house.

Sonata was now really happy not only had she made two new friends but she was also living in a new house as well, this was the happiest day of Sonata's no longer eternal life but she was ready to begin the start of her brand new life together with her two new friends. The End.

Well, I can't really say this was a great story.

On the one hand, I'm happy for Sonata; she's with characters who could genuinely be friends with her, and she would enjoy Fluffle Puff's company. Seriously, I'm surprised there hasn't been some fan work featuring the two of them happily munching away on tacos.

On the other? I feel like this needs a serious proof-read and edit. There's a lack of detail here, and while a lot of detail can be bad, a little detail can help the scene immensely.

So points for the story, but the execution's lacking.

Hm... I think you made Fluffle a little too communicative? Like when Sonata offered to share her tacos, I think having Fluffle give a happy gasp and bounce a bit would be more IC.

Also, don't EqG Chryssy and Puff live with the Marker from Dead Space? That'll be awkward to explain to Sonata.
