True, true. I'm too lazy to look for pictures as of now though. I wouldn't call it unoriginality as much as I would call it wasted potential. I can see a fic like this played seriously while maintaining a fairly original outlook... but not as it is.

Gotta agree with Whalesbefreeyo here - the ridiculousness is fine. The writing itself actually seemed to be the weaker half of the equation. Especially with this kind of double derping fic, you really do need to be extremely showy and imaginative. If its a DBZ episode - we just read the transcript instead of watching with all the colours and flashes.
