Because:
1. I'm unlucky.
2. A few random fics written for fun; i.e., not reader-attracting (though which of those stories are this is debatable).
I got cheated out of the box on one of my earlier stories. Kindle in Equestria was supposed to be in the Feature Box, but the stupid Box algorithm changed around that time. Therefore, my spot in the box was taken by a fic that was going 24-24, whereas I was going 40-2, by dint of the other having more views or whatever.
And my other stories were also just plain unlucky. If you notice, there's a stretch of time in my story publishing waaay back in my first year (2012) where there's decent views and ratings. That's when I was going tryhard at getting views. Almost got there, but not quite. Plus, you know, times have changed.

Amazing
I still love that one to hell. It's part of my 'quirk' series- a series of stories that have some sort of 'meta' quirk to them (the other current stories being the earlier Read This and, by definition, the more recent Another Displaced Human Dilemma). As noted on the story, I legitimately completely wrote the entire thing on my Kindle Touch. Hard as hell, but damn was it fun.
