My entry for the Equestria Daily Writers Training Grounds for May 2nd. The prompt was "Spike has eaten the book of Inspiration Manifestation. It has some side effects..." - which was come up with by none other than my good friend Servant Phoenix! Since it was a prompt by him, and I loved the episode, I couldn't resist giving this a try.
The cover art was the only picture I could find of Spike as a Unicorn. Spike in this story is a little more grown-up looking than that. Older than a colt, but not quite a stallion. I decided that because even though he's a baby dragon, he was born when Twilight was a filly, so he should only be a few years behind her as far as pony aging is concerned.
I hope you like it, I didn't have as much time to work on it throughout the week as I had hoped.
So Spike is a pony. Interesting...

Nice story. I liked how Rarity got Spike out of his evil streak. Best of luck with the next story.

Cool to see Spike being treated as a servant and not a slave by Twilight here. Half the time I wonder if Rainbow (oddly enough the only pony I don't remember abusing him directly) should call Child Protective Services.
This was cute and I like that we FINALLY get a hint of Rarity trying to disillusion Spike. Yea, things had to go back to status quo, but maybe eventually she'll realize it's kinda mean to string someone along if you have no intention of being in a relationship with them.
it seems interesting Spike taking the form of another being without being a dragon, but ... now I have several ideas later, I need to see what I can do to develop an interesting story between Spike and the princesses, it is not the first I see the theme of this Spike turns into a poney, so I hope it’s okay to create a story with Spike being turned into a poney
