Obscur Rose, a Alicorn mare, had a troubled history. Her Life was set with her cutie mark changing as life moved on from a beautiful rose to a corrupted black rose, her life was inches away from ending on the spot. With the slightest pink in her mane still standing a long time friend, she still holds on to what little she has left. Lucky Bass came to Ponyville in hopes of meeting some of his friends. When Lucky finds Obscur Rose in this state he drops everything he planned to ensure Rose's life wouldn't be a like this, He will be her friend in her time of need.
(This story is basically a Love story with a emotions flying everywhere. Try to hold on as this story contains signs of depression, sad moments, and best of all Hope.)

You say that there is a backstory to come i hope so it does jump in the deep end quickly so to speak. But a few other questions come to mind while i read your birst chapter. Why is an alicorn (royalty) in such a state? How long has she been an alicorn? How long has lucky been gone? All questions i hope can be answered via plot unfolding. Very quick to lol bam there is a kiss and not much leading up to it besides some informing dialog between the two. I look forward to your continued writing and i have a feeling some people will hate on it. I hope not trolls are the worst

Also please understand this is my second story so I'm still new to this whole thing and thank you for your comment. I don't really care if people are hating or faving, I just want to go with my gut. I have something in stored for Shady at the end of the story "A Shady Lie".

At least this is better than my one story that I had to cancel on....sad times, but I must move one.
