... Okay, if he goes on torture-rage, then I will unfave and cease following this story. I would actually hope Celestia would be reasonable... but like certain other fics, it's a 'solution or problem' mentality.
Fuckin, do it, fgt!
Jason, go put on a Giant armor and a brown stone mask portraying a bearded man with wide eyes and become the Legend that will get the justice in the world of scrubs.
You know, I've just realized that this means that, in a larger context, Equestria's legal system is absolute bullshit.
Good to know.
Crap in a stick, Jason has a really nasty way of deconstructing ponies with words. I fully endorse that notion, and wouldn't be surprised if he tore at the mane six until they bled through their ears and eyes if only he could get them in a position to listen. To me, it sounds far better than the violent alternative.
Also, Celestia's self-crippling ass deserved that chew-out so much.
4972907 Considering the sentence is usually Friendship or Banishment, yes.
4972891
ikr?
4972909 Y'all FINALLY got Jason to blow up at Celestia. It's happened. There you go.
4972895 BITCH DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO
4972895 Are you even a pro yet?
I like where this is going
4972927 Giggity.
4972912
Also, it's hilarious that the fact "oh the Elements of Harmony embody our core virtues" means that they're actually held to a lower moral standard (in private).
4972919 Let's be honest, it was just a matter of time come this point. It had been since Celestia took Twilight to him in her bedroom, breaking her deal with him and all the trust he could've placed on a pony.
Now go back to feeling better, you magnificent writing bastard you
Vigilante justice is only vigilante if there's a way for it to be handled through official channels... Hate to say it, but in the absence of law he has the right to pursue justice as he sees fit. This is also the reason why laws exist in the first place. He's liable to go overboard in his pursuit of suitable punishment.
Also, I was afraid you wouldn't update after that blog post. So yay!
4972919 Its like this story keeps driving me to be even MORE Engrossed with each chapter!!
4972919 it had to happen sometime. No one can let emotions build up for too long. No matter what, at some time, a human will break.
4972917
The thing is... as far as I'm concerned, the ponies whom wield the Elements are not the elements or perfect representatives of the Elements themselves. In fact, unless the Mighty MacGuffin is okay with an agreement among weilders to fuck up a complete stranger whom means no harm, I'm pretty sure that even Gustave le Grand is more qualified to be a Chosen One than this version of the Mane Six via is one reluctant and fearful act in this story.
Oi, Gustave. Have this Element of Kindness badge! *pins it to his apron*
4972944 This will come into play later.
MUAHAHAHAHA!!!
Damn this chapter was good, looking forward to the Elements getting their due, I'm gonna be honest, I don't think I'm gonna be OK with physical violence towards them, but I will enjoy any verbal/emotional beat downs, but no matter the outcome, I trust you to deliver a brilliant story. This is by far one of my favourite fanfics.
OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD MR. POPO IS WATCHING ME
SOMEONE SEND HELP!!! PLEASE!!!
4972907 well, this is still just a fanfic
4972919 About damned time. Didn't expect Celestia to do anything about it, because frikkin' elements of harmony but I hope Jason leaves all of them a quivering mess of tears. No need for physical pain...that's too easy, but to mentally fucking destroy them...I look forward to whatever happens. Even more so after watching him rip into Celestia like that.
Your writing has managed to turn me against ponies as a collective whole while still reading your story...well done.
Oh. Shit.
4972951
Sorry, the 911 line is busy
4972956 This is just one rendition of the ponies, please don't hate them. I couldn't live with myself turning a brony against My Little Pony with my story. ;-;
"The Elements of Harmony are supposed to be the epitome of Equestrian values, even before myself. If word got out to the public that they were imprisoned, there would be chaos!"
God...damnit. So it all comes down to a polictical scheme of making Equestria look great, no matter who they step on or hurt. "Oh no!! IF the truth gets out: The rest of the world will realize that we're not perfect/peaceful!! Ponies are always in the right, even when I know that they've done wrong."
I think that this place needs chaos and destruction. Physically pain is letting them off way to lightly. Dredging up all of the evil and disharmony Equestria has done to both him and other non-ponies and revealing it to the world is a fitting punishment I believe. When Celestia see's everything that she "supposedly stood for" brought to ruin, all she'll be told is that this could have been prevented; had she actually gotten involved and not pushed her duty onto someone else.
This pleases me.... Go on
whoa that was pretty intense.
Shit, meet fan.
Jason was less scary when he was a psychopath.
4972966 Oh gods no. I meant within your story itself. I treat each story as its own universe. I openly wish for the mental dismemberment of the ponies in this story...I honestly still don't know why I keep reading with what many would consider a blasphemous portrayal of ponies but yet here I am lol. You're an incredibly talented writer. :3
4972971 Oh?
You've seen nothing yet.
She didn't check up because HE didn't raise a squeak! Letters, bitch, can you write them?
Celestia's in a corner. She'll either have to act or let Jason do his brand of justice....I don't think she will, but given the fact she did nothing to help Jason over the years...
I'd recommend she bring the Bearers together and show them all their memories of Jason in front of our battered human.
Discord...you really didn't anticipate things going bad, did you? Celestia was willing to take Jason's worst as punishment on behalf of her ponies, but he doesn't hate her (as much). Of all the ponies, she's the one who's actually trying to do the right thing, but she doesn't know how to go about it due to the circumstances involved. Any other pony and she'd be more than willing to give Jason the justice he deserves.
I kinda want to see her do the right thing, not only for Jason, but for herself.
Sweet justice is imminent

4972989
With what money, stamps or paper?
Especially since Rainbow electrocutes him whenever he's in town?
A more pertinent question might be why he didn't go back to Canterlot
4972952
Well, yeah: in this fanfic, the legal system of Equestria is dubious at best.
...not that it's a lot better in canon
4973002 He only did it when he did because he had a seething mass of talons and rage accompanying him. Early on he thought it would be a suicide-mission, and towards the end he just wanted to die and get it over with.
Not as good as it could have been but let's see where it goes.
Umm.... huh? What?
Celestia can't imprison them? What kinda BS is that?
Are you saying the Elements are above the law? Celestia's reasoning doesn't make much sense to me. They've already violated their Elements. Actually they've done so in the show multiple times and the Elements still worked. Nothing says the ponies have to be perfect for them to work.
How about a hefty fine? A good talking to. Something. Community service?
Let Jason sue them at least. Anything. Heck, give Jason a boat load of money and send him to the Griffons.
I mean if you wanted to say she couldn't do anything legally(even though it's a dictatorship), I would have accepted "Sorry, but you are not an Equestrian subject or something, so you don't have the law's protection so I can't do anything." It would be a stretch, but more believable than what I'm seeing here.
Now you are are just manufacturing idiot behavior so Jason can go on a revenge kick. Because, yeah, Creatures going on revenge rampages has gone so well in the past. Are you trying to justify them turning him to stone or killing him?
All I can think of is in Uberhaxornova's Gang Beasts videos where he holds his arms up and goes "WINNER!"
4972984
You're evil, you know that?
Never. Stop.
4972984 i48.tinypic.com/2z9br4h.png
4973011
Well yeah, but that's only because you made it so: the distance between Ponyville and Canterlot is dictated by the speed of the plot.
In the show itself it's inconsistent (takes a couple of hours on pegasus chariot for Twi in the pilot (but we don't actually know how fast pegasi go), but it's an overnight train in MMMystery of the whatever whatever (and in the wedding it's a couple of hours, still on train), so it's as far as you want it to be.
4972989 are you sure the letters would reach her, by how the ponies acted towards him it wouldnt be rare if any letter he tried to send her would be destroyed out of spite as soon it reached the post office
4972952 seeing as the fact of friendship or banishment/turned to stone is canon, i can pretty much say that equestria legal system is only for show and in the end celestia is the one that holds the final word, yeah there is luna but is not like she really has any political or moral weight for the average pony to listen
4973015
In this fanfic, Celestia is a slave to PR: if ordinary ponies knew how shitty the Elements acted, they'd panic and run around terrified (which, sadly, isn't an inconceivable notion, given how the ponies act in the show )
Of course, I'm of the opinion that if their society is so fragile, maybe it'd be actually better to let it burn and replace it with something more robust, but meh, whatever.
4972975 People enjoy hating things, that's why villians are so popular.
4973069 Exactly. It's as far as I want it to be.
4972891 Yeah', sometimes Celestia is horrible at planning (for example, trusting a bunch of barely adult mares to take of a being as powerful as herself through friendship), but she ain't the ruler of Equestria for 1000+ years for nothing. With all the different sentient species out there, she should be a master at diplomacy and compromise.
i sliightly get this feeling, that discord is somehow involved in his misery.......
i mean, imprisoning the elements means chaos, and discord is basically the god of chaos...........
just thinking
