Maternal Madness
Queen Erranda is the leader of a tiny, nomadic hive of changelings known as the Locust Hive. Unlike the hive led by Queen Chrysalis, the Locust Hive is very much like their namesake. Being less reliant on love, they feed off of material food to survive, like normal animals.
One day, while feeding on a section of forest in eastern Equestria, the rigid Queen Erranda becomes more and more controlling, and her drones grow to resent her behavior. When they come across a mysterious old woman, who calls herself Mother Mae-Eye, offering stacks upon stacks of pies, the Locusts are overjoyed and they chow down, in spite of Erranda's warnings.
But by the time she uncovers the truth about Mother Mae-Eye, it was already too late, for her children come under an evil spell that causes them to believe that Mae-Eye is - and always has been - their mother. And that's just the beginning of her problems, for the witch wants to use the drones for an even greater plan - one that could destroy all of Equestria!
Can Queen Erranda improve her ways and save her hive before Mother Mae-Eye carries out her nefarious plot?

4309454 I see what you mean with your idea. I apologize, but the H.I.V.E., along with the Teen Titans themselves, only get a mention in the story and do not make an appearance. Oh, forgot that this was just a preview when I got the notification.
I noticed your love of exclamation marks, it gets old pretty quick. For some reason this sounds like you wrote what you say, which isn't terrible, but it is awkward to read sometimes. We're also privy to random unimportant information, like the birds talking. It's not relevant to the plot, was passed off as something commonplace when transformed, and was rather pointless overall.

4434183 Yeah, I'm personally not a big fan of this "tyrant Celestia" idea, because I believe it undermines her good nature as seen in the show. Speaking of which, while I do have my own ideas, I try to keep as close to the show's canon as possible so that it feels like the real thing. Also, the "students" she mentioned were supposed to be the Mane Six.
As a side note, though you might have read this on my author's note in the Epilogue, I'm thinking of creating my own cover art for my story so that it looks more complete.
