Chapter Eight

This was awkward. The mess I managed to get myself into. The fact of my stupidity asking out Rainbow Dash what was I thinking? Luna eavesdropping on my conversation with Rainbow yet another mare finds out. I’m so stupid.

The sun finally sank over the horizon making way for moon and stars. Drenched in sweat the girls were gasping for air as they continued their way to Ponyville. Suddenly as quick as the moon rose it fell replaced by the sun. The girls all sighed heavily in unison; they had seen this routine before

"This is Boorriinnggg" yelled a bored pinkie pie hopping behind Twilight

"I Agree with Pinkie booorrrriiiinnnngggg" moaned Rainbow Dash nodding her head in agreement

"Jeez you two have the attention span of well- nothing you don’t have an attention span!" Snapped Twilight staring back at Rainbow and Pinkie. I glanced side to side looking at the scenery, The trees were all bent over with oversized apples on them, the sky was full of cotton candy clouds one of Discords favorite tricks. It was still raining chocolate milk.

“well for the spirit of chaos he sure likes to use the same old routine” Twilight mused to herself a small smirk on her face”

"Well lookey here weren't that a quick trip, we've made it to the Everfree forest" Said Applejack the spirit returning to her voice

"Well it's about time, my hooves hurt and I need a manicure" complained Rarity throwing her hoof up to her head

"T ain't over just yet" Continued Applejack

"We still have to find the elements, Rarity!" Said Twilight narrowing her eyes at Rarity

"Shall we enter?" Questioned Luna through the shaking in her voice

"Leeeettssss gooooooo!!!" Said Pinkie a little too excitedly. We ventured in slowly; wary of any traps Discord may have set. watching every shadow so we wouldn’t be caught by surprise of any nasty tricks

“Hurry girls I can see the castle from here” squealed Twilight racing towards the castle

“Twilight wait for us” hollered Applejack running to keep up with Twilight

We arrived inside the old abandoned castle and found the elements straight away, right in front........of........

"DISCORD!!!" Everypony wailed in unison

“Oh no it seems you girls found me and the elements” cried Discord kicking the elements over to the us “I’m ready to be defeated ladies Fire when ready” making a target appear on his torso with a wave of his arm,again”

"Ready girls?" Said Twilight, as I noticed history repeat itself commanded Twilight as pure magical energy flowed through the elements and their bearers. A Large Rainbow beamed out of the girl’s vicinity hitting Discord directly.

"NOOOO not again!!!!" Yelled discord flailing his arms about trying to shield himself

"Ha take that Discord" Yelled Rainbow Dash. Maybe the elements were THAT powerful after all

"BAAHAHAHAH you ponies are a crack up, I fooled you I fooled you, YOU SHOULD SEE THE LOOKS ON YOUR FACES!!! AHAHAAAHAAHAAH" Laughed Discord through a thick wall of smoke.

"But....But........the elements can’t fail!" Exclaimed Twilight her eyes darting back and forth looking for anything to explain what went wrong

"Oh too bad, try again next time, Enjoy chaos everypony its going to last for a long, long time" Said Discord

"It's not over" Roared Luna standing tall to look Discord in his eyes

"The Lovely Princess Luna what a surprise it's been quite a long time, I heard you were imprisoned by that mean ol' Celestia too"mocked Discord wiping away fake tears

"No, nightmare moon was imprisoned not me!!"Luna Exclaimed, as she said this Her horn began to pulsate with the color of the night sky with all her power she unleashed a blast of magic hurtling straight at Discord. The magical blast zipped through the air hitting dead center of the amulet around Discords neck. To everyponies shock the blast ricocheted straight off. The pendant was now glowing red a bright crimson red like a toaster's element burning

"See, no matter what you do ill win, with this necklace chaos will rule forever!'

"No, it won’t; what the?" I said in a deeper voice. The smoke from the shot that Luna fired was now starting to clear and I was slowly becoming more visible.

"Crystal, you okay?” Asked Twilight

"I’m fine, just that Luna would you mind firing your magic a bit less directed at me, that hurt you know" I Responded

"This isn't good" Discord muttered to himself

"I’m sorry girls this has been fun, but as per usual I have some chaos to wreak" Said Discord putting on a fake smile. Just as he said this with a snap of his fingers he vanished

"Dagnabbit, he always does that" Applejack announce .The smoke dissipated, my new from coming into focus as each of the girls turned to see me

"GASP!!" They all shouted.

"Your a-a-a-a-"Rainbow Dash stuttered at with a loss of words

"You’re a s-stall-i-on" Said Fluttershy. Rarity then rushed through her saddlebags to pull out a mirror and put it into my face.

"Holy Celestia, I’m semi-normal again!!" I said thinking aloud

"What do you mean normal darling?" Asked Rarity raising her eye and turning her head slightly

"I’m sorry I should have told you earlier but I was a male all along, a male human” I responded

"N-no you’re not" Said Princess Luna tears beginning to well in her eyes

"What do you mean?” I asked confused

"I think your my-my, son" Said Princess luna

"THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!" I said louder than expected (shouted)

"Well actually, I don't forget things I’m only 200 years younger than my older sister, and my son was taken from me long ago by Discord because of rivalry to the throne, Discord sent him far far away out of my reaches; and since I have reach all over Equestria he sent my child to the only place I didn't have control over, the human world. This drove me mentally unstable and helped drive Nightmare Moon out of me. Now if I remember correctly you had a Lightning blue mane, a dark blue coat like mine and lightning blue eyes. You also were an Alicorn; which tricked me earlier considering that you were also a mare, now let me see if I can fix that" Said Luna

"What- but I remember a whole life back in the human world this doesn't add up" I continued

"Discord can play tricks on your mind, horrible as it is I am most certain this is true, now stand back I’m going to find out your true form “commanded Luna. Luna took a couple steps backward before aiming her horn directly at me a massive beam was fired straight at me. I felt my insides lurch backwards and forth a large itching sensation i could not explain filled my body as i slightly expanded to big mac's size. My skin tingled as it stretched to fit my new form as my organs rearranged themselves

"It is true I can’t believe it you really are my son!" Burst out Luna with joy. I then looked into the mirror: I was taller, had a large horn poking out my head facial features altered, but still, no cutie mark.
"I don't believe this" I said to myself

Luna ran up to me, tears streaming down her face, embracing me in a hug. Her hoof ran through my lightning blue mane and into my deep sea blue coat. She pulled back looking deeply into my Lightning blue eyes and whispered in my ear

"Welcome back, Cobalt"
