Swordoath

A verifyable madman! Indeed, I may or may not be. I am, however, a brony, which is why I'm here. Obviously. If you cannot see that, you must need special glasses. No offense to people with glasses.

Alduin, the World eater, was evicted from both the mortal realm of Skyrim and the land of the dead, Sovngarde. The Dragonborn had brought peace to the land. But Alduin is immortal. Across all realms exists a small portion of his power. It has taken him time, but he has finally recollected his physical form in a new world, where he can gorge himself on the souls of it's inhabitants; Alduin has arrived on Equis, and has rallied it's Dragon inhabitants in order to destroy the ponies for his consumption. Dorian Hollowblade, the Imperial Battle Mage and Dovahkiin, informed of this by Parthenax, vows to venture to this new land to defend them from the World Eater.

But Equestria on it's own is not without champions.

Thanks to the user Holographic for ideas and such. (1-5)
My new idea bouncer/coauthor! Azrael Sorath (7-?) (Also helped me edit 1-6)
Also, I'm on the lookout for a better cover.

This premise is flawed, non-biological immortality is only possible through a Deus Ex Machina, or a Quantum "fracturing"

If he were to be Quantum fractured, he would exist within all space and time, free from death, and capable of limitless travel and power.

How does he form a new body ? If he is a spirit, then how does he exert work upon the corporeal plane ? Truth be told, if his words could be heard, how does he guide the formation of his body.

Even then, do his powers apply in another universe ?

I hate it when aurthors use the, died and reappeared in another universe trope. It doesn't work like that.

3963323 Dude... I don't know what you just said, but I feel it man. It's radical.

3963989 Radical ? As in Radically stupid.

Also if ypu read the Elder Scrolls lore, there is no Space.

There are three realms: Atherius-Mundas-Oblivion

Atherius should be the title of the chapter, not spacr.

3964121 About time I addressed that.
I was referring to physical space/Dimensional space.
The 'Alduin has no body there' thing will be addressed. He didn't technically re-appear... Nor did he entirely die. He has fractions of his being locked in each plane of Oblivion, or Dimension, if you prefer.

So where does the Alt. Universe tag fit in?

4027789 Equestria with evil dragons, Sombra (the high dragon preist) returned, Crystal Ponies enslaved (again)... Need I go on, or will you wait for more chapters?
(Sorry if I seem a bit terse. :applejackunsure: )

4029257 just wondering. I don't read a lot of story's with the alt. universe tag, but I love the elder scrolls series. I just wanted to know before I start reading.

4368234 No, just having some issues with progression, is all. Soon enough.

This is well written, though I would appreciate an update to kill this suspence quickly

Hmm. He's absolutely indispensable and irreplaceable, with skills that can literally save the country, but he apparently has extremely low Speech skill. He completely fluffed that negotiation. :raritydespair:

4770711 Eheh, I was intending that to get across. He is rather bad at conversation. (So am I, apparently. :facehoof: )

4771721 I think you did get it across. Cheer up.

Kinda pissed you had the Dovakiin side with the Imperials, which is really stupid, but otherwise a good start.

Welcome... to the Equestria DLC.

I hope Dorian kills the bandit that stole his ebony armor.
