Spike leaves Twilight Sparkle to live in the Dorgan Forest. Twenty years past his memory still crystal clear of why he left. When deciding to return to Ponyville he sees something horrorfying. Death left and right of him. Can any-pony explain why this is? One, and only one can. Will Spike be able to save the Ponyville plagued with the bad past of his sins? Or, will he just fail and let his soul rest in peace. Only one way to find out as a knight is born from the most unlikely of places. As well as the loves. In the tale of death, agony, and sorrow.

Was my story bad? No, it was horrendous. But that's because rom-coms aren't my forte. Sadness however, is my forte. And this? Is not sad. It's dark, not depressing dark, but just dark. Try to make Spike show more pain and this will be a sad story. Like so:
