On the eve of the Summer Sun Festival Celestia has gone missing, and it's up to Luna to find her. What awaits Luna, however, is not only her sister, but a long awaited confrontation of her past.
Luna may have been able to avoid speaking of her imprisonment for this long, but like her term on the moon, nothing lasts forever and she must finally talk about those one thousand years. It seems though, that Celestia isn't acting how she would expect.
Authors note:
On the story: I had the idea (most likely unoriginal) of writing a story where Celestia and Luna finally acknowledge what happened so long ago when Celestia entrapped her own sister on the moon by herself. I went under the assumption that Luna was conscious the whole time, and the Alicorns being ageless, also immortal, hence her survival there. I wanted to add the twist in terms of behaviour of the two, and I honestly can't claim to know a huge amount about psychology but I've done my best.
Generally:
This is my first attempt at posting a story on FIM Fiction, and I will warn that I had no pre-readers, this is mainly to finally get this somewhere where it can be read since it's been sitting uncompleted in storage for a while. As I add to it I'll upload 'chapters', though it is only a short story.
By all means be critical, but keep these points in mind, I am also by no means any kind of 'trained' in writing. I enjoy writing from time to time and this is the result. I hope you enjoy!
I'm really liking this! Hoping for a new chapter soon, great work!

Thank you so much! and thanks for the fave too!
I came across this almost by accident, and having read it, I think it's a shame you've not written any other stories. I think it's a pretty solid fic, and well above average for a first published effort. The fact that you had no pre-reader does show at times (the prose is a bit rough in places and there are a few nitpicks, eg a colt owns a café?) but the actual story is satisfying. I particularly liked Luna's Moon story and the really nice ending. I have no idea whether you're even part of this fandom any more, but if you ever did feel like writing more ponyfics, I'd encourage you to do so. Have a very belated like, anyway.

oh hey! Thanks so much for the support! thank you for the criticism and also praise!
I am still sorta into the fandom. To a much lesser degree mind you. But your appreciation of my writing is really heart-warming. A long time ago I was actually in the process of correcting a lot of the grammar mistakes and inconsistencies in general, but other things ended up taking priority. I did have the goal of submitting it to Equestria Daily
its a 4 month late reply but it's cos i drop in only occasionally on this account. But thank you for this. I was feeling sorta melancholy today and this helped to cheer me up a lot
I don't know if I'll write again (but who knows!) I tend to do my art more nowadays
5908142 You're very welcome! I really wasn't expecting any reply, so it was really nice to see this. Glad it cheered you up a bit!
