178. The oath

Celestia giggled. Seeing Twilight parading around the throne room like one of the guards was one of the rarer sights she had the pleasure of seeing. The filly moved with purpose and determination, even garnering an appreciative nod from the captain of the guard who likely envisioned her to be perfect soldier material.

Celestia simply shook her head with a smile. Within a week Twilight would have forgotten about her promise to protect the princess from danger, and would go back from being a faithful guard to being a student.

A faithful student.

Of that, Celestia was sure.
