The character development is good so far. I should know since I excel at character development. For those who didn't read the old chapter 2 will see that he must have a big secret that is truly something, well..., large. I won't spill the beans since I read the old chapter 2 but if the same plot line is being kept, then I'm looking forward to the struggles that our main character will be facing.
For those reading this comment who are just now finding this fic, you are in for quite the ride. Assuming the same plot line is being kept from the old chapter 2.

You used irony wrong. Heart strings cutie would be coincidental, not ironic. Irony is when something happens that was the opposite of what you were expecting. Like say a guy who need medication to survive is killed by a track filled with the same medication. Irony usually involves death to a comedic or tragic effect. One example of something that isn't ironic, a guy is taking a plane is expecting to crash, and then the plane crashes, the opposite, in which he doesn't crash, didn't happen therefore it is not ironic. Sorry I have a force of habit to correct people.
I'll give this a chance. I just hope it's not another Mary sue story
