Cloudchaser is among the gifted few who had the chance to join the Wonderbolts Academy. During an extended break period, as she returned home to Cloudsdale to catch up with her sister, she notices a colt that she babysits crying because he can't fly well, which means he can't visit his brother, Thunderlane. Can Cloudchaser lift Rumble, and his spirits, into the sky?

With the sudden re-drafting of Jason and Dash into the military, Scootaloo is left feeling more alone than she can remember. Sure, she still has her friends, but friends can't just replace parents. And now with knowledge of her parent's leave all over the town, Diamond Tiara's bound to pick up on her weakness. But she's not the same scared, defenseless pony she was a month ago, is she?

Honestly, this works without knowledge of the prior story, besides the fact that Jason and Dash are her parents, and that they both have a heavy military background. Other than that, it's just another story.

Tags were hard with this, I have to say. There's only light romance, so don't worry about implied foalcon. There's no human tag, because Jason's only mentioned, and is barely involved if at all.

This story is a prequel story to Soap Suds and Scary Movies. However, this story can be read without having read Soap Suds.

Pip has missed his friend Rumble all week at school. Rumble hadn't even shown up at all. Finally, Friday comes and Rumble is back but something is different. Rumble isn't acting himself in any way. Pip doesn't know why but he is determined to find out.

Rumble's friend Genova is dying. Genova is a filly artificially made into an Alicorn. But not being a natural born Alicorn is causing the filly to be practically falling to pieces. As Celestia does everything in her power to aid the filly Rumble recalls the events of three months previous. How he met Genny, how he became her friend...and ultimately, how she ended up in the hospital in the first place.

True Friendship has no eyes, or ears, true friendship stands despite all adversity. No matter how broken the individual...there is always a friend out there to mend them.

For about two weeks, Rainbow Dash has not been paying any attention to Scootaloo; even avoiding her, or so the orange filly thinks. Scootaloo feels as if she is not wanted and or that she is not good enough for the blue pegasus. She goes on a journey of self discovery, hoping... praying... that what she believes to be true is just a misunderstanding. On this soul searching journey she finds that things are better than she could have ever imagined. And worse.

Rainbow Dash is suffering from complications during the birth of her second child. She is going through extreme amounts of pain, and her body threatens to shut itself down. A nurse came up to Twilight and Soarin' and told them both that she is probably going to die, and Scootaloo happened to listen in. Now with a time limit on Rainbow Dash's head, Twilight rushes to find some way of saving Rainbow Dash while Soarin' attempts to help his wife as much as he can. But Twilight must hurry before it is too late.

Meanwhile with the prospect of Rainbow Dash's death over her head, Scootaloo ends up rethinking just what the ponies that are close to her truly mean in her life.

Scootaloo has recently fallen for a certain colt in her class: Rumble. Going against her tomboy demeanor, she finds herself admiring and desiring every aspect of him.

Now, she is going to confess her feelings to him, while trying to not be too awkward in the process. But, for a young filly, that isn't so easy.

Scootaloo is living a good life right now. She is able to fly quite well now thanks to Rainbow Dash's assistance and is getting better and better at it. She has her own special somepony, Rumble, and while they aren't the most romantic couple in the world, he is somebody Scootaloo knows she can fly with at any time. All and all she is living a pretty good life.

And Diamond Tiara does not like that. As she watches Scootaloo from afar she is jealous over all Scootaloo has managed to accomplish and all the friends she has. So as soon as Silver Spoon comes back with new look that makes colts drool, Diamond Tiara hatches a plan. To steal Rumble away from Scootaloo.
