A long time ago in the magical land of Equestria, ponies changed the world. They put their lives on the line to bend the arc of history and mold the present and future of not only their country, but the entire world. They were ambassadors, princesses and princes, warriors and scholars. Everything they did, they did to preserve and propagate their way of life.

None of that matters now, though. Their stories are largely forgotten, their lessons nothing but dust on the winds of history. Their buildings still stand, mostly deserted ruins now. Other than that, their only legacies are the problems they left for the new age to deal with.

Sunny and her friends thought they had a pretty good grasp on those problems, and they were working day in and day out on ways to solve them. Then another one rears its ugly head: an ancient city emerges from the depths of time and unleashes an old horror upon ponykind once again.

Misty has recently reformed and decided to help her friends defeat Opaline. She acts as a spy for them and tells them Opaline's secrets and moves. But they didn't expect to be able to take her down so soon. When Misty says Opaline wants a smoothie, they hatch a plan to stop her, but it ends up going a little farther then they anticipated.

Done for kicks as part of an idea that occurred after Misty's redemption.

As summer time in Maretime Bay rolls around, Comet begins to find himself struggling to stay cool. It isn't long before he comes down with a fever, a really strong one too!

With Comet so sick and so hot that he can't even get out of bed, his friends all scramble to figure out a way to cure him and help him adjust to Maretime Bay's warmer climate. But time seems to be working against them!

Can Comet be saved, or is it possible he'll have to find a way to go back to the snowy cold of Starlight Ridge?

In order to save Winter Wishday (or at least Mane Melody's holiday decorations), Sunny and Hitch must kiss.

Today the Mane 6 celebrate their anniversary since the day they brought back magic. They later visit Zephyr Heights to find information about the elements of harmony as well as investigating a mysterious necklace they had found. They soon discover a magic mirror portal that leads them to an alternate universe. I wonder how things are in the human world.

By sheer chance, Hitch discovers that Sparky's egg came with a note. Upon reading it, he discovers a familiar name as the author of the note: Spike.

Once informed of this discovery, Sunny realizes that Spike must know what happened to Equestria that caused the pony tribes to become divided. She subsequently recruits all of her friends to join her on a journey to see the old dragon.

When the five mares finally do meet with Spike, they'll be surprised to learn his reason behind sending Sparky to Maretime Bay. And Spike will shed light on how the utopia Princess Twilight created came undone.
