Royalty doesn't always get what it wants. It's a lesson the princesses usually have to go out of their way to re-learn, but worth learning all the same. But when Luna approached Big Mac in a dream on the eve of Hearts and Hooves Day, it wasn't with the intent of learning this lesson.

Nursing a broken heart and an upset stomach, the Princess of the Night decides that the least she can do is bow out with some dignity and grace. To that end, she enters the dreamscape of Cheerilee, and gives her blessing in the most extravagant way possible.

Inspired by one of the most beautiful pieces of artwork I've seen in the past month, by phenomenal up-and-coming artist girlsay. I would seriously recommend going to take a look at the full version of this thing, as it is truly breathtaking.

Jax, a young Griffon from Griffonstone has been traveling all over Equestria, but his travels come to an end when he finds himself working on a rock farm owned by the ponies. He does good work and he's the family in need. but one of them draws his attention, Marble Pie.

There is just something about that shy mare that fills Jax with happiness when he sees her. Can he somehow get her to notice him?

Marble Pie has a little problem at night, and the solution isn't something she's looking forward to.

The few people who know about Marble Pie, only know she is the opposite of her twin sister, Pinkie: shy, quiet, and likes to keep to herself. However, the young woman actually has a secret life that no one really knows about.

And today is a big day for her in that regard.

Life on the rock farm is dull, hard and cold. It's also all Marble Pie has ever known. But she doesn't mind being alone in the quiet fields- it gives her time to think.

Once, she admired her sister, Limestone, for stepping up to manage the farm for their elderly parents; now, her admiration has turned to something quite beyond the familial love she knows well. But what will the target of her affections think about her abnormal love- Will she be accepted and her feelings requited, or will she be turned away and disgraced forever?

Marble Pie is the shyest and youngest of the Pie sisters. With her sisters Maud and Pinkie gone off on their own, it leaves Marble with her parents and her other sister Limestone to tend to the rock farm. With so much work to do, Marble tends to get stressed a lot. One day while in the attic, Marble decides to vent her feelings and frustrations, not knowing someone (or rather something) was going to be there to "listen."

After a brief glimpse of happiness, of thinking that perhaps she had found one who understood her pain and loneliness, Marble Pie now feels that she has lost everything.

It will take some wisdom from an unexpected source to set her right.
