Being a well respected life-guard on a tropical island sounds like it’d be the best job ever, but you find your life becoming quite complicated when you become fast friends with a tourist and fall head over heels for her. Can you find the courage to confess your love to her? And will she even accept your feelings? And what will your friends say when you tell them you’re in love with another mare?

Author's Note: Oh yes, I went there. This is a female perspective fic. I recall someone saying in the SFG Thread: "Why are all these stories in a male perspective? It's not like I mind, it's just I'd like to see some female perspective fics out there."

So, as the ever exploring type, I decided "Why the heck not?" and made this fic from a female point of view. And honestly, I like how it turned out. I do hope you enjoy it.

Side Note: I talked with Coffeebean while writing this fic and actually asked him to write a part for this fic. A more... Hot and heavy part. Today was a shaping up to be a bad day, Apple Bloom had been running for her life in the Everfree forest. Now she didn't even know if she was even in the same forest anymore. She had never before seen trees so tall, and never before had she met something so strange.

Something ancient.
Something overflowing with old and powerful magic.
Something green.

Becoming an alicorn, Twilight Sparkle had much to learn. Her unicorn magic increased, but she had a lots of experience controlling it, and while flying proved harder then expected she had no doubt she'll master it sooner or later. And that's on top of her learning more about her role as a Princess. She has no time for interruptions.

However, when stressed Twilight is faced with her newfound strength, Applejack is there to help with an unexpected problem; being physically stronger then any unicorn.

For Spike, the Summer Sun Celebration was more than the celebration of the summer solstice. It was the day he and Twilight came to their new home in Ponyville, the day the Elements of Harmony were rediscovered, the day six mares found a bond so powerful, it would define their entire world.

The Apple Family reunion has arrived, bringing the Oranges with it! When all of Applejack's insecurities about being a business-farmer collide at once, can a waitressing Rainbow Dash make any difference?

Applejack was a simple pony, content with a hard day's work and good friends. However, fate decides she's in for a little more than that when an alien crashes into the farm and gives her a strange ring. Now, Applejack is thrust into a war she never expected, part of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lanterns. The enemy? A merciless group of warriors called the Yellow Lanterns, whose brutality is unmatched by any in the universe. Faced with a savagery that she has never encountered before, Applejack must step up and become the iron willed warrior the Green Lanterns, and the universe, need her to be.
