You are Rarity, a fashion designer in Ponyville, along with one of the few members of the Council of Friendship. Life is good, you are good, your friends are good...

Well, for the most part.

3 months. Rainbow Dash says that she'd been hitting on this stallion for 3 months now, and was getting nowhere. She needs your help! And yet, Rainbow is quite reluctant.

Pfft, khh. It's not like this happens everyday! She clearly doesn't know she needs some help with her potential stallionfriend. So you're going to go visit this 'Sunshine Sprite' character and explain all this to him, for both Rainbow and his own benefit.

After all, what could possibly go wrong?

When Rainbow Dash realises that she's been feeling strange when Fluttershy is around, she decides to ask her friends about it.
But while the others are great at saving the world, along with a myriad of other talents, solving this particular issue might be a little out of their depths...

Rainbow Dash spends the day with Scootaloo after seeing her feeling down. The two have a fantastic day together and begin to form an inseparable bond. That bond is broken after Scootaloo, Sweetie Bell, and Apple Bloom are kidnapped by a notorious crime mob. Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack decide to take matters into their own hooves and search for CMC and the snatchers. Doing this, they embark on a journey that will take them to the dark underbelly of Equestria's crime system.

If you look around the multiverse, you'll find several entities who would be happy to see them, at least initially. Those sapients would be operating on dreams of free wishes and gold -- or, for the more sensible, shoe repair. But Equestria knows nothing of those tales. And so all Rainbow knows is that it's a very important day, one where she absolutely must have privacy, and that means she needs to get these miniature green-jacketed lunatics out of her life.

Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy travel to the frozen north of Equestria and there, they encounter King Sombra. Armed with new abilities, they proceed to do battle with him. However, even with their new powers, they still have trouble with engaging him directly, with the kind of power he possesses. Rainbow Dash, being the Element of Loyalty, fights stronger than all the others and goes all out to protect her friends. However, even this is not enough to defeat King Sombra, and he eventually pins Rainbow Dash down and kills her. All seems lost, but then suddenly, Rainbow Dash stands up once more.

Note: This is actually a part of another fic that I was writing, but I have since scrapped it. This scene is what inspired me to write it in the first place. I like this part so much that I decided to make it a small, independent story. Enjoy.

Rainbow Dash is an unlikely matchmaker, but she's also not a pony that leaves her friends hanging. When she sees the feelings Applejack and Rarity have for each other, she tries to get them together, but ends up struggling with the knowledge that those very feelings may end up keeping them apart.

Sadness, depression, guilt, darkness all these things can easily swallow a happy day. They can change ponies lives in a heartbeat. All it took was one of Rainbow Dash's pranks going a little too far. A over reaction to that prank forever changing the lives of everypony and one dragon, But as the days roll on, the abyss of guilt and constant self blame will consume one mare. Can she ever find forgiveness for her mistake, both mentally and spiritually? Most importantly, will she forgive herself?
