The best friend of a pony is another pony or was it a changeling?
With its empress of fire defeated and imprisoned by Sunny and her friends, the Equestria of new believed it had closed its darkest chapter. They took peace for granted, life went on.
She returned. And yet, peace remains.
Here will be published stories about the adventures of Velvet Remedy. Since these stories are sent to me by her children, I cannot say when the next update will be. But I can guarantee that there will be more.
You can read them here:
It's the Met Gallop: the world's premier high fashion event, where careers are launched and lifelong relationships are formed. Pistachio's never been to one before. His mentor Rarity has been to more than she can remember. Both of them have a lot to learn from each other before this year's edition begins.
Skywriter's choice for Honorable Mention in the 2025 EFNW Iron Author competition. Yes, I am namedropping him because he's horsefamous. Broadly and in the context of this story's central metaphor, this ain't my first rodeo.
Did you know Equestria has a Constitution? Twilight knew that, obviously. Of course, she never actually read it all the way through, but it's a Constitution, y'know? It's pretty straightforward.
Her own life was pretty straightforward too, before a pair of wings and an ethereal montage made her a decidedly unconstitutional Princess. Fortunately, Equestria's founding legal document planned ahead for situations like this, just like how Princess Celestia planned ahead for Nightmare Moon escaping her magical prison, and Discord escaping his magical prison, and Sombra escaping his magical, uh...
Oh boy. This is gonna be a hell of a local election cycle.
Belated polishing and publication of my 2024 EFNW Iron Author entry, which I like a great deal even though it didn't place in the contest. "Snowblind" didn't place in anything either. These things happen. I'm only still seething a LITTLE bit.
It was supposed to be a simple day in the Crystal Empire.
But things take a considerable turn for the worse when Flurry Heart, alongside the visiting Cutie Mark Crusaders, are foalnapped, taken away, and assumed to be dead by their loved ones.
Trapped in parts unknown to them, the fillies must work together to get themselves back home. Encountering dangerous obstacles, wicked ponies, and their own insecurities, their journey will not be an easy one. Will they even make it through to the end? Or will the cruel world around them get the better of them?
Rated 'T' for violence, perilous situations, and the occasional use of language.
Starts off between the events of the movie and season 8.
Sunset's crash awakened something long sleeping. And for once, it's not hellbent on destroying the world!
So uh, it's already starting off on a positive! (It really shouldn't be. STAAAAAAARRRRRRRBEARRRRRRRDDDDDDD!)
- Many thanks to Prism for helping me write this fic, thanks so much~
Originally intended to be a chapter of What If... but things got VERY out of hand.
Tirek's returned. Twilight, of course, is the last pony standing against him. Or first, in this case, given that he just clawed his way out of Tartarus again.
This time, however, instead of the power of love and friendship and kindness and all that jazz, Twilight's got an orbital bombardment of anvil rain on her side.
Tirek thinks it'll be the end for the both of them. Twilight says otherwise.

The previous year's events still hang heavily over the school, and there are always new mysterious and new dangers.
