But as they resumed trotting deeper into the temple, Dash's thoughts kept going back to the event.
"No", Dash told herself, sternly. "That's - that's not it."
She almost would have compared the experience to "Pinkie Sense" of all things!
But she had seen something out of the corner of her eye. It had been... letters. Words. A sentence.
Something along the lines of "... the characteristic noise of a ... spikes closing in right behind ... Rainbow Dash slammed her body into ... ".
And then she had acted, before the trap was even visible. She had known what was going to happen, before it happened.
She ... she had read the next paragraph.

Hearts and Hooves Day is a sorry excuse for a holiday. Maybe it's the fact that most of her dates tend to get eaten by manticores, but Daring Do has long since given up on risen above any longing for romance.
But that doesn't mean she's not 100% okay with slinking into the Sugar Cloud Confectionery to hit up their sale on rainbow truffles. Hay no. This is her most important quest of the year.
Hopefully it doesn't end up like last Hearts and Hooves Day.

Daring Do is on a quest to recover the Ruby of Raksamakesh! As always, she's prepared for every situation she could think of as she approaches the labyrinth where it is located. That doesn't help when she comes up across something she couldn't have expected; a monster who's...slightly more inept than what she's used to.
