Tempest never thought she'd be toiling away at Sweet Apple Acres under the summer sun during the hottest heatwave of the decade just to appease Twilight Sparkle.

She especially never thought she'd meet a snarky old mare who could put her own sass to shame, but that's special missions for you.

Wait, is this supposed to be educational?

Tartarus below, this is another one of Twilight's not-so-subtle "self-guided learning lessons", isn't it?

...It's going to be a long two weeks.

Set after the events of the show, Queen Novo decides to create an annual festival for all creatures who were under the Storm King's rule to celebrate his defeat. Tempest is invited to the party after spreading the news of the Storm King's defeat, while Trenderhoof is attending to write an article about the new festival. When the two of them meet, Trenderhoof asks Tempest to be his date, and she reluctantly agrees. Will she find herself enjoying spending one day with this enthusiastic stallion?

Shadow Tempest's real name is that of a pony from a previous generation, before this world existed. She isn't aware she had another name all the way back to the days of Dream Valley, the chain of her reincarnations shaped her in ways she doesn't remember.

each with an emotional, psychological or social problem in need of discussion,
ready to offer advice, hugs, and sometimes just listening.

Each chapter will be a self-contained 'session' of Starlight trying to help those who come to her,
for whatever friendship problem they may have.
Character names will be added as this goes along!
