Puzzling Insanity has done the same thing for the past five Nightmare Nights. She's taken advantage of the thinness of the veil separating the living and the dead. This year, however, she's summoned two spirits instead of one.

Spike and the various other colts are excited for all the the delicious treats! The TRICKS of scheming woman, costume malfunctions and evil spirits? not so much! Can they get through tonight with their lives or at least Dignity intact? 😝 Of course not! It wouldn't be much of a story otherwise, wouldn't it? HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This was very personal and very cathartic for me to write.

Five years ago, Puzzling Insanity lost her father. The anniversary is always painful, but this year, she decides to do something to distract herself.

Equestria just gained an new ally today...or dare I say a new friend. But in the other hand changelings lost a great worker and a soldier, that's hardly uncommon considering that there was a war going on. What truly surprised changelings was what they had understood from such a loss, from...a deserter, a traitor...yes. But an enemy?

Twilight has been training for this moment.

She has mastered every skill, passed every test, and is ready to show her strength.

Her master has handed her one last task: win the Equestrian Tournament and bring glory to their school. But it won't be easy; there are plenty of strong fighters waiting for her, hopefully her fist will be enough to win the day.
