* To be clear...this story is thousands of years into the future, and Sunset and Twilight are not completely immortal.*

"Sister" Princesses Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle are mourning the loss of Equestria's favorite Princesses - The royal natural-born alicorn sisters - Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They have been crowned the "replacements" of the Two Sisters, but they young ones still want their mentor and her sister to be with them.
In an attempt to win them back, they resurrect them. This 'phoenix life' spell to get them back has a catch, however; every 1,000 years, the (original) princesses start life over again and it takes a while for their memories to come back. However, this is a price that the young alicorn princesses will pay; there was too much love and joy lost to them as the older Princesses tied Equestria together. The Orignal Royal Sisters have been resurrected as fillies...and they, as well as the younger alicorn sisters; have to start life all over again....Princesses Celestia and Luna will then be dubbed the new title of "The Pheonix Mentors."

Even after a thousand years of banishment, the daily routine of a princess has not changed. Be it taxes, nobles or national security, a princess’ job never ends. What if one wants to take a break though? Quite easy, get rid of the guards, put on a disguise and see how the life of a normal pony is. Or at least, that’s what Princess Luna thinks. But what events will the day bring?

Author note: Okay, so i missed the deadline for NaPoWriMonth, but i'm still going to finish the story. To the couple of people who care, don't worry, it'll get done.

Chapter One has been edited for both Grammer problems, and a couple story points that i didnt like and thought needed changing.

For centuries, a changeling queen, Chrysalis, have been using a Crystal Heart for her own selfish reasons. Yet, when the pregnant queen of the Crystal Empire falls ill, the Heart is then taken away to heal her. Furious, Chrysalis kidnaps the baby, discovering the Princess's ability to grant her wish. Yet, when FLurry Heart turns eighteen, an unexpected stranger manages to help her escape... and steal her heart.

My fire dosed by the storm inside of me. I had a family. A small nest to call my own. A home.
And they were all taken from me. Taken by those who feared us. Despised us for what we weren’t.
They had called us a bird of evil. One that had rose from the deepest part of Tartarus. Covered in its hellish flams.
They called us monsters.

Princess Celestia is one of the two main rulers of Equestria. She is supposed to always keep a level head, no matter the situation or circumstances. She just has to! And Celestia has always been very good at doing so until the incident occurred.

Philomena, Celestia's phoenix is injured and suffering. Celestia starts to ponder how her little bird even feels about the life she is living and must be forced to make a difficult and heart-shattering choice to get herself back on track and to rid the pain and misery of her beloved pet.

Many years have passed in Ponyville and Twilight Sparkle has never yet found love. Until this point, she thinks she never will find it. Although she hasn't put that much thought into her romance life, she stumbled upon a very old and dusty book hidden in the depths of her library. Twilight finds her old scrap book and remembers her childhood when she lived in Canterlot. Upon seeing the Scrap Book, she is determined to set off to find some old friends, before the ones in Ponyville.

Although this tale of Twilight is meant for her to re-unite with childhood friends, and with a stallion she's denied, Winter's unforgiving season will determine the fate of her love, her friends, and her sanity.

Note: This story will have alot of mood change. Prepare for some funny moments and depressing moments to... boring moments/tension build up moments.

Fun: On the side from all this, try to spot out as many Vietnam referances in this story.
