Persephone Gaia Blake is stuck in a bit of a rut.

While all her friends are off following their respective dreams, she's stuck listlessly working at her hippie mother's witchy souvenir shop, peddling crystals and tarot decks to Salem tourists. This story is, first and foremost, a gift for the incomparable Mushroom, who clearly must be some sort of undiscovered species of fungus dog since we definitely don't deserve her. I have it on good authority that this story gave her Many Feelings, and I hope it gives them to you, too. :)

It is time for the upcoming Friendship Games against their long time rivals, Crystal Prep Academy. But, when the Magic Mirror in Equestria begins acting strangely and traps Kion and Twilight at Canterlot High, the rest of the Lion Guard come on over in an effort to figure out what happened. Along the way, they meet up with Sunset Shimmer and the Rainbooms, who are also struggling to understand how the magical "pony-ups" work.
