PROVE ME WRONG
PROVE ME WRONG
Welcome all to the second part of the OC Hunger Games! Now not only will this blog reveal the last winners of round two, but it will also detail the next challenge that was actually inspired by one of the contestants' stories and an idea that a contestant shared with me. But right now, let's focus on the winners of Round 2
Last time it was revealed that JumpingShinyFrogs, Crescent Blade, and Smaug the Golden were the winners of the round. Joining them is... Wait, breaking news folks!
Due to family reasons, I'm away from my computer and forced to write this with my phone. So I'll keep this short and sweet.
Now I have some good news, as a thank you to those who are still in the competition, you all get a day off tomorrow. But on Monday, it's back to business.
Anyway, here's the results to round 3. Another thing is this round will only have one person eliminated. With that, let's begin.
Hello, everyone. This blog post is a bit different from the usual 'I'm doing something in a weird way, feed me attention' kind I'm used to. This time, I'm trying to draw attention to a new group me and a few other users I'm used to working with have made, who's purpose in life is to create challenges and events for writers of all walks of life to enjoy.
For those of you that are already on the group... well, you've probably seen the post already. However, I'd like to see as many participants as possible, so here I am, making a blog post about it.
Over at Hazardous Writing Materials and Challenges, me and the other admins organized a contest. I'm hoping it'll be pretty cool... after all, it has a theme that I've frankly not seen tackled in contests before: Anachronistic stories.
Going slow. 4300 words in the chapter that seems really really low key takes some time.
Also work is really eating into my free time and I am having a hard time adjusting.
Definitely down about that. Can't believe how nervous I am about being a cashier.
I don't know how I feel about my work ambitions and dreams being hampered by my disability but it's a real bummer.
Winner’s List
The characters featured on this list will promote to the second challenge. If your OC is not listed, you have been eliminated. However, you are still free to pay attention to the contest.
And the winners are…
Double Moon Flare
Candle Light
Crescent Blade
Crimson Luminance
Mesme Rize
Aglaia
Constellation Sky
Purse Cutter
It's a think. Okay. So Write Club is a thing. This is my assignment.
Okay. Kraken are aquatic, and Canterlot is landlocked.
So, on something of a whim I bought this drawing tablet. I've always wanted to be better with art, and I have access to the full (but old) Photoshop suite, so I figured what the hell, time to learn. But, my hands have the steadiness of a meth addict sucking on a jackhammer, so I 100% need digital aid in this pursuit. I spent the last several hours playing around with it,
I am a DJ and I was considering doing a DJ battle animation between me DJ Ghostly vs DJ PON-3 what do you think. Would you guys like that, and you can decide who wins.
A few years back, I had a series of extremely bad writing ideas. Call them the worst possible ideas, and you might not be wrong.
Insomnia is posted right now! Go get my shameless human on pony action clop. And this pony is Princess Luna. Cliche right? Yep. I hope I don't get a pie in the face for that.
That's write right! Yours truly will be participating in this year's National Pony Writing Month!
The link to sign up is right over here! https://www.equestriadaily.com/2018/10/announcing-national-pony-writing-month.html
Recently, I reposted Orange Pippen's Directory of Apple Varieties (and yes, I'm sharing the link again). Going back through it, I remembered some ideas for a few names I had in mind, but then I got an idea. One that would make a fun writing challenge for anyone who wants to try it. And with March being the start of spring, it's a great time to set it up.
Despite grad school and a significant mental block, last night I hit 50,000 words in this year's NaNo story. It is nowhere near done and has sections missing (because I was trying to get around the block), but I completed the challenge. 2 for 2, two years in a row.
So after chapter 11 I decided to take this break now since I did said I was going on break and now I'm going to this time.
I'll most likely come back on during the weekends most likely but it will just be editing and all that stuff but of course I will work on Chapter 12
since it will be the last Chapter of course but considering that it will be long I have a lot of typing ahead of me along with a part
two.
