OC Hunger Games, Round Two Results (Pt 2/ New Challenge) · 3:18am Sep 14th, 2015
Welcome all to the second part of the OC Hunger Games! Now not only will this blog reveal the last winners of round two, but it will also detail the next challenge that was actually inspired by one of the contestants' stories and an idea that a contestant shared with me. But right now, let's focus on the winners of Round 2
Last time it was revealed that JumpingShinyFrogs, Crescent Blade, and Smaug the Golden were the winners of the round. Joining them is... Wait, breaking news folks!
Apparently, a contestant hasn't submitted a story yet. However, given the fact they had personal issues, I gave them an extra day... When I say them, I mean ObsidianPony and Hypnosparkle. If say, Obsidian submits hers but Hypno doesn't, then Hypno will be eliminated. Or vice versa. But if they both submit, it will depend whether or not one is better than the other. So this blog is between Orion Caelum, and the team of WickedLSDragon and Hailspider. I planned on having two eliminated for this challenge... And really, I can't eliminate anybody yet given the fact that I still need two other stories... Or maybe I can just boost up the amount of people I can eliminate... By one. I will eleminate two people here, but the third will all depend on tomorrow.
The two eliminated here are...
WickedLSDragon and Hailspider.
While their story was entertaining, it managed to fail one major rule of this round... The characters didn't stay in their biome for four days. And instead, only for four hours. Not only that, but Hailspider's character, Double Moon Flare had help from her magical assistant, character, named Jeff. Not only that, but it seemed as if they were more focused on writing a love story than an actual survival story. Romance is always a nice touch, but when you over do it and you make that your main thought instead of what is expected, it doesn't always work out in the end. I'm sorry, but you two, are eliminated.
Orion you've managed to get past this one with your story, Shante you stay.
As for the two we're still waiting on. You have until Monday to submit your story... Or you face elimination.
Now, down to the nitty gritty!
The next challenge is something so terrifying, something that can make the manliest of men cringe... Something I tricked all of you into believing was going to be terrible.
Your characters will be courting their survival partners... By courting, I mean you and whoever your survival partner was must now go on a date a successful date! And I already know that people will ask if love making can be involved and yes love making can be involved, but it isn't mandatory. Now for those who didn't have a partner, will be put together with somebody who didn't have a partner. A list of the couples will be added below.
But you all might be wondering by now. What about that one person in the end? They're the uneven number, they don't have a partner. I know, which is why I'm doing this.
Remember when Hurricane Blitz was a contestant? And how he was eliminated and all that jazz? Well... Welcome him back with open arms! I, GOB have used my powers of Honey Roast to resurrect his OC's body! Yes, I can do that, it's my contest and I'll do whatever. But don't worry, he's the only revival that I'll do for the rest of the contest.
Now, for the couples. Like last time, this will be collaborative work. So here are the paired lovebird OCs.
Crescent Blade and Candle Light AKA CandleBlade
Constellation Sky and Aglia the Changeling AKA... Uh... How can I merge those names?
And finally, Hurricane Blitz and whoever wins tomorrow. Also Whiteoak I know Hurricane is a married character but just let that slip for this one challenge.
