A friend (who shall remain nameless) of mine made me this. They gave me permission to use for a possible future story cover.
Behold: The Carrot Farmer. The ultimate mare's man. He could defeat even the most evil of ponies by charming them with his carrots.
While writing the "December" chapter I did some minimal research on apple farming during the winter. Turns out there's more upkeep than I expected. Younger trees are especially vulnerable to the wind, sunlight, and hungry animals that wake up from hibernation. I put in subtle references to those, but it really didn't matter if anyone noticed them since they weren't important to the plot (and the plot's not important to the story either).
I just bought Stardew Valley for the PC.
And I love it already.
Enough to write a story.

Recently, I reposted Orange Pippen's Directory of Apple Varieties (and yes, I'm sharing the link again). Going back through it, I remembered some ideas for a few names I had in mind, but then I got an idea. One that would make a fun writing challenge for anyone who wants to try it. And with March being the start of spring, it's a great time to set it up.

First of I wanna say, thank you to all who have read my stories!
It means a lot to me, and there has been great support for my stories, at least, that is what I feel. To say it once again, none of my stories are dead, I am simply taking a vacation, letting the rest of the year pass over me, relaxing with family and simply enjoying some of the stories I wanna read on here.
There Is a lot I wanna do in 2020, stories I have planned and so on.
As of today, both Brotherly Bonding Time and The Rock Farmer's Daughters had their ratings changed to Teen (something that should have been done earlier--especially for RFD, given that it's older and finished).
Better safe than sorry.
One of the things that got most of us into MLP was the lighthearted spirit of adventure that permeates the series. Yes, there is drama, and fear and even hard lessons, but there is also music, jokes and straight up fun. Combined they make the series neither too heavy dramatically nor too fluffy with no drama at all. One story that follows this rule is Farmer Bruenor Has Some Ponies by

Today, I'm gonna be giving you guys my take of "Space Jam".
In all honesty, I saw this short back when it first debuted on Disney+, having managed to regain access to one of my family member's accounts. And when I saw it...I was instantly blown away by how awesome it was! Everything about "Once Upon a Studio" was a truly beautiful way of celebrating Disney's 100th anniversary, and it was a genuinely touching tribute to Walt Disney himself as well. And to Burny Mattinson, considering he passed away before the short was released.
