Okay, so... calmed down, watched the ep again now that my head wasn't exploding for the last five minutes of it.

Overall, a great episode. Very strongly reminiscent of Magical Mystery Cure, and considering what happens it's an appropriate parallel. The numerous songs, the transformation at the end, the letter to Celestia. This felt like a season finale, in a good way, because it was grand and world-changing.

I don't dislike her, but in a season that brought us Cheese Sandwich, Maud, Tirek, and the Mane-iac, Coco doesn't stand out to me. Sure she was kinda adorable, but see also; most other cast members. Episode was meh, Meadowbrook is a thing from S5's premiere but might as well being entirely different because the backstory given here says nothing of her magic relics. And what we do get - a southern swamp witch doctor - is underwhelming.
