    Revised Harmony Spirits

I wanted a full set of these with proper art, so with permissions from mauroz, here they are. A couple effects have been tweaked to be consistent with modern vernacular in the card game and for my own better understanding of card design and balancing, and I also added a new "Tier 1.5" form for Twilight so she can have her own Fusion outside the ace monster, and finally added Sunset as a

Once Upon A Zepplin S7E22 Review · 4:02pm Oct 7th, 2017

About the only family who hasn’t appeared this season. Scootaloo doesn’t count, she doesn’t have a family.

So, this was fine. Cute ep. Did not expect the return of Iron Will, but he was unneeded, he was flanderized into a con man and didn’t really add anything special to the ep, he was just there. You could have substituted Flim and Flam in his place and it would have made just as much sense.

Where the ep fell short is that it really didn’t do much with the Sparkle family. There was a good bonding moment with Cadance but otherwise we didn’t get a lot of the parents, and Shining Armor was a one-note gag about him being airsick. Twilight’s problem between family and work is a tired one throughout media, and makes no sense for her to learn because she never spends time with her family at all! That this is the second major appearance of the Sparkle parents makes that painfully obvious.

Also, Startracker is appropriately named. He was creepy.

Episode has some cute and funny moments, but it’s nothing special.

And now for me, T-minus two and a half hours to pony movie. Hope my judgment on it is not an echo of this episode.

I actually quite liked this episode. It could've easily been another fandom call out like "Fame and Misfortune", but it took the high road. And the moral is one Twilight's needed to learn since becoming a princess, heck maybe even since before then.

But is it? Even if you substitute her friends for her family, Twilight has never shown any problem balancing her professional and personal life.

4689884 Actually, she has. Remember how in "Twilight Time" and "Trade Ya" she was surprised to see how many fans she had, but also couldn't bring herself to turn them down?

True, but that’s not quite the same as how the ep handled it, I think.

Well I’m flattered that you hold my opinion in such high regard that dissent from it is considered a shortcoming on your part. :moustache:

I think you're being a little hard on this episode.

*shrug* Just didn’t do much for me. Needed lesson Iron Will, more Sparkle Parents.

CRUUUUUUUEEEEEEL!!!!

Anyway, if I recall, Rarity and Sweetie Belle's parents didn't appear either for this season. To be honest, I'm actually hoping that we never do see Scootaloo's family. To me, it's one of those cases where I think it's better that we don't know her family. Else if we did, we'd get a major disappointment out of them. I've been hearing that a lot from Rainbow's parents, saying they were awful characters.

Speaking of which, Fluttershy's family were in season 6, not 7, and I hold a major disappointment towards her brother.

scootaloo has a family rainbowdash is her big sister

We all know what Startrecker is supposed to be a play on, right?
