You read that right - I and the lovely Cynewulf are going to be doing a writing panel about that most auspicious of topics among nerds - world building!
Well, I said I'd make a blog about this and here I am. Doing it.
If you didn't know by now, let me just confirm it in big capital letters: YES I AM in fact going to Babscon. I will be there this upcoming Friday, and will be staying until part way through Sunday.
Hey, I know I never do this, but I wanted to give you an update on what's coming up for me. Just a look at my projects, so you know what I'm up to and that I'm not being shit. You know, so you can look forward to stuff and/or avoid it as preferred:
-Anon Gets an Ulcer - 10% done
-Rainbow dash related horrible fetish story - 0% done
-Possible short series of sads - 40% done
-Scootabuse oneshit - 80% done
So it's the beginning of November, and since it feels like I've been off the grid for a little bit, I figured now's a fine time to get you all caught up on the stuff, things, and assorted engagements going on with me and my writing life. I meant to do this sooner, much like how I meant to have a new story or two published by this point, but my capacity to do that has been affected by some things that I guess I haven't been as open about as I could've been. I'll get to that at the end of this
I'm going to Equestria LA, where I'll be hosting a panel called The Making of Pony Clicker at 11:30 AM on Sunday! I'll be going over the development of Pony Clicker and various amusing facts, as well as previewing a prototype of a new pony game. I'm going to EQLA with Ambris, so when I'm not at a panel, you can probably find me

Anyway I'll be on FamousLastWords' Shipping panel on Saturday at like 445, and might pop in and out of the writers' room a few times. Otherwise you can find me about being a memelord; occasionally I will also be in my *vaguely* respectable but nonetheless poorly made Celestia ponysuit, and if you see me you are required to either give Celly a hug or dab on her.

So, I submitted two fanfiction panels to Trotcon and they were both weren't accepted. This is weird, because one of them was accepted last year, and I presented it to great success!

Evidently there was an author meet-up at Whinny City yesterday, and Vivid & others decided to take over the panel in my absence. I've been in touch with Vivid a little since then, and it sounds like he might be able to dial me in. I won't be leading it but I might still be able to participate.

Michael Straczynskis Amazing Spidey (what most of us think of as the good half, anyway) and Mark Waid's Daredevil , mainly just as writing exercises on Google Doc or something but FiM did make the mistake of giving me a blog, so I may as well use it. On the one hand, there's what to say that hasn't been said ("That Chris Samnee/Marcos Martin, he sure can draw!") but way words and images blend together for emotional beats in those two runs still does
As most everyone knows, I went to Everfree Northwest last weekend, and I took the train both ways.

I am busy with work (as in, my real job), studying for an important exam in the summer, and also working on a writing panel for an upcoming online MLP convention. As a result, I probably will not be able to work on any stories until June 13-14 (when the convention ends).
If you know about this online convention already (June 11-13), good for you. I hope you watch my panel.
If you don't, you probably don't need to know.
