Babscon: Better Known As Drunkpencil is Going To Spoil Your Con · 4:22pm Apr 17th, 2016
Well, I said I'd make a blog about this and here I am. Doing it.
If you didn't know by now, let me just confirm it in big capital letters: YES I AM in fact going to Babscon. I will be there this upcoming Friday, and will be staying until part way through Sunday.
Now, if you care about this, because you're going too or you just give a damn about where I'm going and what I'm doing, that's...nice. I'd be happy to say hi and give you a hug if you see me and come up to me. And in all honesty, I'll be pretty easy to find. I will be hanging around with Bolding, Flutterpriest, Venates, Wuten, and a whole bunch of other writers, artists, and weirdos. But you probably needed more specifics than those.
Ok, here we go.
Friday, my only plan is to wander, be a bum, eat food, and drink at the party that night. I will be dressed as Tracy Cage (look her up if you've never heard of her), in a long blue dress with a big fake knife. I will be spattered in blood. Ask for a hand-stamp from me, you'll get one. If I am drunk (hah if) I may try to ruin your con. Be aware, this is a risk you take when you approach me.
Saturday it's even easier to find me. I will be wearing...a rather grand looking ballgown. I won't say who I will be dressed as, but it'll be pretty obvious. At 3:15, there is a cosplay competition. I won't be in it, but I'll be judging it, so I'll be hard to miss. You can bug me right after if you like.
In the late evening I have two panels. At the first, at 9:45, I will be helping teach a panel on how to flirt. Yes I'm serious. Come ask me questions as Chelis makes sure none of us are total shit to eachother. I'll probably try to give actual advice, in a big way concerning personal space, touching, and bdsm. Yeah, I know, quite a spread. After that, in the same room, at 11:00PM, I will be with Flutterpriest, Bolding, Chelis, and perhaps Wuten, at Fanfiction After Dark. This is 18+ so I can and will swear to my heart's content. This will literally involve drunk penciltalking talking about drunkwriting, oneshits, wtf fetishes, serious writing business, funny weird stories, etc. Basically, imagine the podcasts I do with The Good HIE folks, and imagine I am even MORE familiar and comfortable with people. Seriously, the folks in this panel are some of the ones I trust and associate myself with the most. I fucking love these douchebags.
Literal, irl shitposting is welcome.
The last day I may wear a costume, I may not. If I do, I'll be dressed as Berry Punch, and I MAY be sitting on a tall person's shoulder, squawking like a parrot, insulting random passers by. I have always wanted to do this, so don't you even try to stop me.
So, that's pretty much it. I MIGHT get one more story done for you fucks before then, something in the same line of humor as A Fitting End, but I really don't think so.
Anyway, maybe see you there I guess.
