So, first I want to send a thanks out to those of you who read my new story, Starlight and Spike Start the Morning Off Right. It was a fun little exercise, so I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.
IN WHICH LISTLESSNESS REIGNS
First, the good news. I have finished one of my Sunset one-shots – I decided to call it Night Of Faded Sun, it's got a pagespace and all that good stuff; I just need to give it a once-over soon. Also, I have made a small amount of progress on the other two Sunset-themed one-shots.. Now the bad news, which I don't really want to blast out there, so please follow me past the jump.
A while ago, I posted a blog covering one of my unpublished stories; the ideas that spawned it, aspects of the writing process that did not work, and why I ultimately chose not to finish it.
Today, I hope to do the same with a different story. Each story presents its own challenges and eccentricities. Today’s story is different enough that I hope it will teach different lessons from the previous one.
I added more to my story. Instead of making an entire chapter and then publishing it, I dicided I would write a few paragraphs and publish that, adding more every time I got on. It fits me, but I have a feeling people would rather wait a long time then to slowly read a story over a long period of time. I want to just unpublish the story and publish it when it's done. I want to, but I don't have the balls lol. I have officially unpublished the first chapter of my first story. The 2nd unfinish
I'm in no way, shape, or form saying don't get Hyperdiminsion Neptunia, just not this version.
For those of you who remember, I recently asked if I should get the Japanese Bundle mostly because I wanted this, it is not a good port.
First off, it's a port of the PSP remake so they changed some things.
Do tell how either of those suggestions are grammatically correct for that sentence, Microsoft Word, please do. 
I'm used to Word's grammar check occasionally being squirrelly and/or too "by the book"...but this instance seemed comically bad given the sentence it was suggesting these corrections for.

It has been a good weekend. There will be a more detailed breakdown tomorrow, after I get a new laptop. There are going to be a lot of things tomorrow, among them at least one Friendship is Card Games article. (And yes, I saw the latest episode. I generally enjoyed it.)
WHELP.
This is my 2018 "yeah I failed at NaNoWriMo again" post. Made it about ... 16k words in, and decided to scrap it. Mostly because I was having trouble reconciling setting exposition and compelling characters and so on.
This one is going to be in a slightly different format. You see, the previous fics that I blogged about, "Back to School" and "Don't Come Close", were taken from my unpublished queue on fimfic, but this story is actually from my drive/gdocs.
...hopefully.
I hope to get a lot of work done on Equine Fall.

Yep. So, I told you a detailed blog post on exactly what was happening with that story would be coming soon, and although it's been about a month, I can happily say that the newest chapter is close to completion.
My wife and I used to live rent-free in an old trailer at the back of my mother's property, and now that we've moved out, mom uses it as a bit of a storage building, but mostly just tries to keep it from rotting and collapsing. And lately, there's been no power in it. The electric company said the problem was on our end, but mom didn't know what to look for in the fuse box, so she called me. So, I had planned on having another chapter of Legacy go up this weekend, but then my hard drive died, and I had to spend like $280 having Best Buy fix it. Well, I had to borrow $280 having Best Buy fix it.
