Writing Updates or Why There Haven't Been Any · 7:01pm Apr 12th, 2016
Heyo, one and all!
So, first I want to send a thanks out to those of you who read my new story, Starlight and Spike Start the Morning Off Right. It was a fun little exercise, so I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.
Anyway, as I'm sure you are aware of, I haven't really updated any of my long running stories in a LONG time. These include Crystal Affair and If Only I Had Time.
The reasons behind this fail are many. However, instead of whining about it, I'll just get to the point. Here are some of the reasons:
1. Work. I work a lot, over 50 hours a week at my store and even more doing admin work from home.
2. College. I'm enrolled in online college pursuing my Bachelor's in Business to assist my future self with high end promotions in my company.
3. Personal Relationships. I'm in a very committed relationship at the moment and as wonderful and awesome as it is, it takes time and energy. It's just how it is.
All those things are very important to me, and therefore take a lot of my time and energy I used to be able to spend writing stories. I don't regret it, but I do miss being able to produce content.
Anyway, that's been kind of the state of things for the better part of a year now. However, I would like to state some positive news:
*ahem*
I'M WRITING AGAIN!!
This is a pretty big deal for me, considering it has been so long, so I'm pretty excited!
Anywho, the main thing that sparked my desire to do so is the new season starting, as well realizing that I've kind of forgotten how to write well in general, and I need to get my A game back on track.
The first story I plan on updating is going to be Crystal Affair. I've been working on it off and on, but I should have something solid ready as early as tomorrow, or a bit later in the week. I'll try to get ahold of my co-writer, but if it doesn't happen, there's not much I can do about it.
After that, I'll work on If Only I Had Time, but that one is a different kind of beast. Either way, it WILL be continued.
That's the best I can do for now, but I promise these won't be empty promises. I really want to get back into the swing of things, so I'm going to be trying my best to do so.

but your old icon was essentially your ugly mug. it feels weird not to look at it........yeah, that's something i felt like someone needed to say. coolio that you are back into writing man, though don't stress too much about it. pace yourself man. few hundred words at a time.
I'm happy to see you're back to writing again.
