We all have our own personal tastes. I thought about sharing mine, because I want to. That, and I'm slightly bored, and I've been doing some thinking regarding my stories. How to carry on Violet Reflections and such, you know? Oh yeah, I renamed it because the title of TwiPie was unoriginal, in my opinion. I wanted to give it something else, so Violet fit better. Unrelated stuff.
Oneshotober has become a rather contentious event. It has a reputation, perhaps deserved, for producing unoriginal, poorly-thought-out, hastily-written, and generally unedited fics. But how do they actually stack up?
Because I’m either an idiot or a masochist, I’m going to review them. All of them. Right here.
Warning: This blog will most likely have an opinion that will make you angry, tick you off, or just say "Wow. Did Shadowmane REALLY just say that about THAT?! I'm gonna unfollow him as quickly as I can so that I don't have to deal with his bitching and whining anymore." So with that said, you can feel free to disregard this blog if you don't want to have my opinions sprinkled all over your day and make you double-think about your favourite or most-hated things. Just
In which, after an angry tribe, a lake monster, and a would-be waxwork murderer, we finally get Gravity Falls' creepiest enemy: the evangelical version of Georgie Porgie.

To study: understanding how and why decently large amounts of amphetamines unlock vast amounts of creativity at the price of focus and filtering and you know, how to do this without the various negative factors involved
Seattle's Angels is a group that promotes good stories with low views. You can find us here.
Csquared and alexmagnet found themselves, as all people do at one point or another, hanging by their feet over a pool filled with ravenous sharks. Csquared heaved a tremendous sigh.
"This is balls, dude."
Alex nodded in agreement. "Yup. But..."
"But what?"
"You know what might help?"
"...What?"
I didn't like it. It is a significant step down in MLP storytelling, and is such a basic, vanilla, safe-for-all-audiences production that it might as well not be MLP at all.
For a far more detailed than necessary explanation, see below.
(Once again, I'm stuck with an episode where I couldn't think of anything, so I ended up thinking about, um...something else that will become obvious fairly quickly. You've been warned. On a side note...I can't really ever picture Starlight being "emo". I think that was a bit OOC of the writers.)
(There's a callback to my quickie for "Parental Glideance" as well as the pilot episode of the series in this one.)
Bleakbane Plays BATTLETECH, Part Twenty-Nine:
The badass, dominating, hardcore Princesses who fight for what they want and decimate those that stand agsint them through shear skill and prowess have had their day, no it is time for another group to take the spotlight. Those who take what they want, who seize power anyway they can. Be it diplomacy, deceit, politics, war, or simply being to damn awesome to not be allowed to take over. These Usurpers will have their day in the limelight, they will taste the joys of the power they so desire,
Have you marsupials ever wandered what got this lemur interested in this crazy fandom to begin with? I'll show you. It's this video right here:
Sorry I’ve been so absent for a while.
This and that kept getting in the way (Those two are never satisfied)
And it’s a good time for a bit of binge-watching even if it’s not too pleasant. I’ll have to make time to watch the 2002 version later.
Okay, so...I’ve gone over it a couple of times and I was wondering if I should include a few good points.
I’ve already explained that the casting is misplaced and underutilised so I can’t include that.
We now come to the novel I put off last week. It does present a truly rare opportunity: A chance to flesh out Cadence. We got the story of her ascension in the novels, after all. Let’s see what this one offers.
Here's one I've been building up over the course of the last year or two and only ever started on the prologue because the internet was out for a while. I have most of the skeleton written out and it doesn't seem like it'll actually take all that long (in terms of writing, anyway) to write out in full, but that's what I think about every single one of my stories, and as I've got way too many going even without the ones I come up with every month or so, I think it'd be wiser to just
The following contains SPOILERS for MLP’s season premiere of MLP “The Crystalling”. Probably doesn’t matter since it’s a few days late. It’s not a good start to this season’s reviews if the first one is late. But hey, what can I expect when I was at a three hour Easter Vigil mass the night of the premiere and my birthday was the next day. I might as well start calling these blogs "Mariusioannesp
I’ve seen a few comments on SMoTE about Skeletor not being the “real” Skeletor and people being disappointed by it. I’m not annoyed by these comments, and I can understand that some people were disappointed by my choice to have a random joe stuck as Ghost Rider’s ugly brother. I’ve been disappointed by a few stories because the character doesn’t act like their costumed character, and I’ve also fell in love with stories that gave their character a unique personality. I can understand them being
