Well, NaPoWriMo 2016 is going pretty well so far. I've been able to keep up with writing 500 words or more everyday, with the exception of two days so far. I wrote enough on other days to make up for that slacking off, though, so I've got that going for me.

Welp this just occurred to me: it's Coffee Month! Yes, a month to celebrate that delicious bitter brew in all its palatable, potent forms. Technically speaking there's only the National Coffee Day that's September 29, but why not have a cup every day leading up to that day? Perhaps make a coffee-centric goal for the big day, like make your own concoction or drink 100 cups in a single day and achieve super speed (or death, more likely). For Pride Month, I thought it'd also be fun to reveal the sexualities of the Elements, which is how I'm gonna refer to the main crew rather than the Mane 6 given that I'm calling Twilight and her friends the Mane 6(Also, one more time even though it was in my last blog, the Mane 6 are still gonna be important characters in Haywire)
I had to rewrite it three times, I changed my mind many times and I ended up writing a chapter twice as long as I foreseen, but in the end, the chapter 07 of the Mare in the Warp is coming. I think it should be ready for next weekend (not this one... that is ending today... sorry).

It was another semi-productive week for NaNoWriMo! For the first bit in any case. I reached 14,509 words total, which means I wrote a gross wordcount of 5,371 words over the course of five days, Sunday to Thursday. I was not home from Friday to Sunday night, and so did not get any words written (I was taking part in my yearly bout of wildlife conservation). This week is looking similar, so I'm going to do my best to crunch as many words as possible before I take my leave of the internet.
I used to have an account on the Young Writers' Society website. Well, I say used to, but I never deleted it, so I suppose it's still there. All the same, all I ever wrote for it was two poems, neither of any artistic merit. Anyway, I was looking through old memorandums (memoranda?) on an older-still 'phone of mine, and happened across a fragment of a poem. It seems I'd tried to write a short, humorous verse for each month of the year, then got stuck. I don't have a very clear memory of
