I know I'm a bit belated on this, but happy pride, everypony! I hope you all remember to love and respect each other, and above all, enjoy being yourselves!

I still remember why I spent so much time in the park.
My wife and I were dating at the time. We couldn’t see each other often; she lived a half hour away, and the struct rules at the Christian university I was attending at the time prohibited unmarried members of the opposite sex from staying over, or even being in our apartment after curfew.
For those who don't already know, today has been the first day of pride month. Since I feel all sentimental, I'm going to reflect on what pride in general means to me and how much I love this month.
Every year, I've written a post for Pride Month in support of all the LGBTQ+ members of the herd. This is the 10th.
The comments section in the FB groups I modedate used to turn into a warzone. Every time. As moderator, keeping the peace became a full time job for me.

For Pride Month, I thought it'd also be fun to reveal the sexualities of the Elements, which is how I'm gonna refer to the main crew rather than the Mane 6 given that I'm calling Twilight and her friends the Mane 6(Also, one more time even though it was in my last blog, the Mane 6 are still gonna be important characters in Haywire)

Okay, so I'd been seeing a bunch of stuff on Twitter about the Progressive Pride flag, and some people not liking it.
I looked at it, and it did bother me aesthetically, and I just looked at it and thought about it to try to figure out why. And not only did I, I thought of a change that would take care of it.
I guess I could chip in. Look how virtuous I am... or whatever.
