I'm still there? It's been, like, a week! Kick me out! Kick me the fuck out! I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE ANYMORE
-me every time I've seen the featured box over the last two days

WHAT?! OHMYGODWHATHOWICAN'TELIEVETHISWHAT?!?!
Maybe you should explain why you're squealing like a moron.
Oh, right. *Inhales deeply*.
So, I opened up fimfiction to check LBS for comments. Before I click on my notifications, the feature box flips to a very familiar image. I look at it and go "Wow, someone else used that piece of art?" and then I look a little closer and I realize...
Love Beats Stupid made it to the Feature Box (Even if it was just for a little while).
I think I just came.
Hard.
Thank you, everyone. I truly, sincerely mean that. I know it may not be a big deal to some of the more successful people out there, but... well, there I am. I'm on the front page. And I have all of you, my friends, to thank for this.
My newest story, a Destiny crossover, is in the popular stories box. Literally on the same day I publish it.
AND it has no dislikes. (Or comments, but that's okay.)
I cannot thank you guys enough. This helped my lukewarm-until-this-point day seem a little better. In all realities, thanks.
Discord: "BWAHAHAHAHA! Oh, sweet, wonderful chaos!" *Is making cats and dogs dance in tutus while juggling exploding bananas*
Shepherd: "Pfffft."
Discord: "What-Do you not approve, Shepherd?"
Shepherd: *rolls his eyes* "Well, it was cool seeing you warp reality like this... But after a while it all got... Samey. I mean, chocolate rain? Really?"
Discord: "Hmph! I'm centuries old! Do you really think you can judge my chaos? Come on! Say it!" *He pokes Shepherd in the chest*
Well, I can't say I didn't see this coming. Apparently, my headcanon has been very persuasive once again with my latest story, Yaks Not Ponies. So persuasive, in fact, that it made the Feature Box. And to think the story spawned out of frustration at the amount of unnecessary flak the yaks got for their over-the-top behavior.
I've already started on my next story, but I've hit an interesting snag. One of the characters in this new story is a character originally from The IDW Comics called Cosmos, and there's no tags for that character on this site! From what i can tell, FiM Fiction's tags are manually entered by the site admins. I'd appreciate it if somepony added Cosmos! She's a really cool canon character that deserves more awesome stories!
You'd think I'd get numb to this by now, but I continue to be pleasantly surprised. Once again, my headcanon has proven to be quite persuasive with my latest story, A Hint of Key Lime. Which once again puts me in the position of having too many people to thank individually.
So, I'll just do it here. To everyone who liked this little tale, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed my take on Limestone "Key Lime" Pie.
Edit: And now it made the Feature Box. Huzzah!
So yeah, when 'You Do Know She Wrestles Bears, Right?' first got to the feature box, it looked like this. In the updates section for some reason.
I actually broke the feature box upon entering it.
I should be more gentle next time.
At any rate, I wanted to thank all of you who liked this fic. It's certainly not my best work, but I'm glad I was able to draw a few chuckles out of all of you, nonetheless.
Why did I write Futa Princest? Why? Feature Box brings the mean commenters! NO!
I'll be under the couch if you need me.
Me, hiding under couch with food supply, secretly glad people liked my story, but still not reading the comments.
IN WHICH… WAIT, WHAT?!
I have a habit of being always wrong. I assumed AMDQ would land with a soft thud because of its weird upload time and being 9,500 words long. Instead, you nutcases sent it straight to the Featured Box, making it my first story to be Featured even with "View Mature" turned on. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! More past the jump.
This space for rent.
Except below the break. That belongs to the box. He needs the surface area.
Big thanks to everyone of my readers, or those who just peaked in on the stories, faved them, and shared them around. It's always been a goal to reach that point, but never thought of getting there with less than 100 followers. It feels amazing of something to accomplish in such a time. It has been such a long trip with many ups and downs for me in the past year, and seeing this just makes all those problems lesser than they were.
Chapter 27 posted in The Runaway Bodyguard. A Double Chapter! The fight of the century year. Really! How badly will Starlight be beat up? Next: Coach makes a deal that Starlight can refuse.
Rather than regale you with the tale of putting a junkyard engine in a Chrysler 200 (which went surprisingly well) or timing chains on an Acadia (which didn’t), I figured it was time to get back to electrical stuff, because that’s going to be a good time.

I'VE DONE IT!!! I'M ON THE POPULAR STORIES LIST AND I AM FLIPPING OUT RIGHT NOW!!
THANK YOU EVERYONE WHOSE ADDED THIS TO THEIR LIBRARIES!!
