Heya!~ If you're reading this post, you either do or don't know that I've been working on a novel for a bit. A lot of you may know that I'm a fast author. I typically write out 2-3 chapters a day, when I have the mood and energy to do so. Which, for Verve and Inertia, I had for... two months straight.
Good and bad news...
Good once first: 
- Selene The Crimson RED Changeling Empress should get tomorrow a double update. The Red Changeling will probably keep her little unwelcome surprise guest as the vote currently suggest it's only 7 hour until the vote for chapter 10 is closed. I start writing chapter 10 then.
- the next clop chapter of the story will be released as well ( see prior Blog post ). I did my best with it, hope you enjoy it 
You know when you read posts about people having problems with writing their stories, some taking even years to update? I am definitely one of those people. Based on your experience, is there any hope for me to ever get them done? And more importantly, should I just push them through nad get done with them, or procrastinate forever, trying to satisfy myself with the quality of the stories first, possibly never releasing anything? Even if they might be decent?
Boy, it's actually been 3 months since I posted the third chapter of The Brilliance of a Restful Mind. Sorry about that, everyone. Little mid-hiatus story status update here,
Pandemic: Departures - close to wrapping, the last handful of chapters are being worked on. (I'm guessing that there's roughly 18-20,000 words left to write in total). This should return sometime in the next two to three weeks.
How goes it, valued followers?
Looks like I've fallen behind on my progress... again. As some of you may have noticed from a previous blog, difficult situations for someone close have had me a little distracted... still continuing to do my best and be supportive on that end.

Been a while since I did one of these. Story stuff first.
It's been a very, very, very long time since I talked about Regent in any meaningful way. There wasn't really anything worth talking about. It wasn't being written, I was burned out writing it, and there were no new chapters. No point in dragging the dead horse out for a useless blog post that does just as much as the hiatus tag does at informing readers about what's going on.
New chapter for HiAW is up.
It took way longer than it should have, 
but I actually had a chapter finished and ready to publish some time ago, but I decided to break it up into multiple chapters, rewriting and expanding upon the first scene and giving me opportunity to do the same with the others. 
Not sure if I will get the next one out before January, but who knows?

Now onto the update proper:
So, yeah.
Been really busy on my end, because I'm going to be moving to D.C. From Indiana. My dad got a really big promotion, and while I'm happy for him...there's so much stuff to do that it's making me come apart at the seams inside.
Suffice to say, I haven't had enough time or mental ability to write as of recently, so I am taking an offiicial break from it until I can get settled in. I will return, it just won't be anytime soon.

A bit of a wait, and many changes made, but I finally got around to publishing Chapter 11. It's an interesting chapter to say the least, despite not many things truly happening yet (It's more of an introductory chapter to when Feather and River arrive at Bocoltá). The next chapter is going to be more important that Chapter 11, that I'm sure, and Chapter 13 as well.
Chapter 5 of “Behind Him” is in progress! This time, expect a bit more Pencil Pouch. 
Currently, there are only a few chunks of the story missing and a few plot lines need to be tied together, but other than that, all that’s left is some basic editing. For anyone curious about the story or for anyone wanting to catch up before chapter 5’s release, I’ll link the story here.
Following my last post, I should update anyone who cares on the state of things at the moment. Progress has been slow after the Ukraine war, which has completely destroyed my creativity (and faith in this rotten world), however I just realised that I have done a lot more than is uploaded right now:
The Tale of Two Sisters
Ch.19 - 8,900 words. Requires final proofing pass and an external pass before upload.
Ch.20 - 4,100 words, 50-75% written.
Writing can get a little bit annoying sometimes when you make up new characters on the fly. Or in this case, on the snake.
The next chapter's currently in progress, but one of the reasons for its delay---aside from the usual excuses of work, tiredness, and gaming---is that I'm having difficulty writing a scene with a one-chapter character in it. In an earlier chapter Leviathan detected a sea monster down in the ocean depths, and I was going to have the two of them cross paths.

It's been 47 days since the last chapter was released, and for that I am really sorry. Thankfully it is not because of a lost of interest, or writer's block. It is simply time that has been an issue.
