Well everyone, we made it to the end of Act I. I'm genuinely curious as to what everyone thinks of the story so far.
The Dead by Sunset series has become a lot nearer and dearer to my heart than I expected, and I fully expect it to become one of my longest fics alongside Featherfall. I'm sure there are a lot of readers interested in seeing how all of the drama that's been built up here plays out, and I wanted to show a little of my thought processes that brought much of this story about.
Before I get into this, I want to let the cool people here know this isn't directed at them. Everyone who actually keeps track of what I do on here knows what I'm about. Right now I'm just very, very angry at this fandom and a couple other fandoms.

Today was a cold day for many reasons. That's why y'all get some Kansas.

It took two weeks (give or take a few days) for the Regular Show movie to get dubbed.
Subs of WWE programmes are out within the week.
So why the fuck does it still take half a year for MLP to get dubbed?!
And don't even get me started on Friendship Games. It's like they weren't even trying with that one.
My feelings were all over the place until I had some sleep. It was great! Surprised me that it's done more for a "mature" audience than actually 3-4 yo children. Like I wasn't expecting good ol Disney movie style hitting back this hard.
Eh, it was good good. Now I need the dolls and make them the outfits with accurate fabrics and everything 
Anyways, I know that I always come here to talk about supposed progress that you never see, but this time is real!
I've come to the realization that the marketing team behind the show has to cut the showrunners slack. Between teaser trailers and merchandise, the fandom's ability to enjoy the show itself is being damaged.
Oh my gosh I can't believe this actually happened, oh my gosh, I never would've expected it to happen with me! Oh my freaking gosh I'm freaking out!

I've been doing some thinking about my future lately -- about what I want to do with my life, where I want to go in life, and what I want from my life. I'm twenty-one years old, still living at home. My final year of my BA starts in September. The day's coming, and it's coming soon, where I'm going to be going out on my own. So I've been trying to think about what I want from my life, and the truth is... I don't know.
Okay, I'm in the cafeteria and I'm taking a look at the home page of fimfiction. What do I see everywhere? Sex stories. Almost all the stories in the featured box is sex stories between Ember and Spike. Same with popular box, along with a few anthro sex stories. And add the Recently Updated and Recently added boxes. Look, I don't mind seeing these stories on the front page here and there, but when the homepage is littered with sex stories, I mean what the hell? You guys are some horny mofo's. I
IN WHICH I, UH, BLUH
Greetings, true believers. It's almost midnight here in the land of the nuts and I realized I haven't made my presence known in awhile, so I figured I'd fix that. If you'll follow me past the jump, I'm sure it'll be worth your while. Actually, it probably won't. But enjoy the rant anyway!
Okay! Okay! I am just going to say this once. This chapter I am almost done with. Is. *Beep*ed! Up! I cannot for the life of me even realize how much *beep*ing *beep* I have written in this thing. It is just insane!
I was at 30k words two weeks ago. One. Week. Later. I am at 42k words. This. Bloody. Thursday. I am at 55k. Annnnd then! And Then! This. FRIDAY. FROM 5 PM to 1 AM I WROTE 15 THOUSAND WORDS!!! Making it by Saturday. A 70K WORD CHAPTER.
A preface: This isn't just about MLP fandom, it's about the nature of fandom in general and will most likely veer off into "Old Man Yells at Cloud" territory at some point.
