Before I get into this, I want to let the cool people here know this isn't directed at them. Everyone who actually keeps track of what I do on here knows what I'm about. Right now I'm just very, very angry at this fandom and a couple other fandoms.
First off, the hypocrisy of the MLP fandom is fucking astounding. A bunch of people who went around preaching love and tolerance did not display those traits at all, then had the nerve to judge me when I made mistakes even after I openly admitted I was a complete shitbag. You wanna' point fingers at me? How about you own up to the fact this fandom got its start in places like 4chan, where some of the worst things about humanity were on full display? They were proud of it, no less. That's already rage-inducing, but then we move on to the fact this goddamn fandom killed a fucking disabled kid! A FUCKING DISABLED 19-YEAR-OLD KID! The bastards I'm referring to bullied him on suspicion of plagiarism in 2014. He ended up walking in front of a train. Instead of contacting admins or moderators and asking them to look into it, they tore him apart and crucified him! So much for love and tolerance, huh!? The Steven Universe fandom then followed suit the next year and tried to drive an artist to suicide because she drew a character too slim. That was a fucking mess too, but at least she lived, no thanks to those assholes. And lastly, within the past couple years, there's been a rise in Nazi and pedophile furries. The pedophiles in particular are trying to disguise themselves under the names MAP (Minor-Attracted Person) and NOMAP (Non-Offending Minor-Attracted Person). Don't gussy up the language and expect people to look at you any differently. Also, as a quick side note to the operators of this site, good job trying to change the Rape tag to "Non-Consensual", you fucking ninnies. It doesn't make it any better. Just thought I should let you know. Anyway, I'm done. That's all I had to say. I'm steamed right now and needed someone to revel in my disgust with me. A big thumbs down to all of this.
And that's why I'm not part of the mlp fandom anymore. I'm just on here to hang out with peeps.
On the other hand, people do get too caught up in the fandom. if anything, they ARE the reason the fandoms get as bad reps as they get.
I'm just saying on this part, I do wish people could actually chill the fuck out and just realize fandoms are simply likes and dislikes on a topic, nothing more and nothing less.

It's the same with other fandoms too. The biggest ones I know about are Nazi black metal dudes and overly-Christian metalcore bands that push religion on everybody.

Just remember that those are instances, not qualities of the fandom as a whole. There are good people here, in abundance, but with anything large, you get the creeps as well.
