Random Charmony nonsense below the cut.
Random Charmony nonsense below the cut.
I wrote Gaben & Filthy Frank vs. The Conversion Bureau, those are the last ones I want to write. I'm going to go back to writing pure bullshit dank stories that are dank, I just had to write a TBC parody that has never been done before. I kinda like writing stories that no one has done before and I had to check that off my list.
And I know Thorax has no body. It was a design choice to use floating heads. Celestia X Thorax forever.
Oh, did I just accidentally upset all the Celestia lovers out there? Deal with it, you babies.
And that concludes the craziest month of my Fimfiction career thus far. A Cavalcade of Cards is complete, in its glorious entirety. It's a strange sort of feeling, as though I am relieved but also thoroughly empty.
I intended on uploading a story for Halloween, but because it didn't pass moderation (my own fault, cause I wanted to be a fancy dumbass) I had to fix the discrepancy and re-submit it. It just recently uploaded, and no one will ever see it... whatever, though. I just wanted it done. It's been in my "unsubmitted" section for such a long time, and I've always wanted to get it done, but never had the right motivation or drive.
So apparently even though I still have some mixed feelings about the fact that it of all stories was first to do so, "Overlooked" hitting the feature box seems to have worked to my favor, as it seems to expanded the number of readers likely to read my future works.
Small review today because my arm is totally janked and I just watched the episode (just now). But the next ones will be big, no worries
Look, the Gay Ponies TM meeting!
Alright, let's set the stage.
Hearts and Hooves Day, known to the majority of the human world as Valentine's Day, is looming on the horizon.
In addition to the plethora of broken hearts, drunken single people, and paper hearts, there will in all probability be many shipfics put out on that day.
Wow! As I near my three year anniversary on FIMFiction, I have finally passed the 1,000 followers mark. I am, officially, horse famous now, and the 187th most followed person on the site.
As noted a week ago, and in my blog post a few days ago, I am totally at Everfree Northwest. It doesn't start until tomorrow, but I hung out with a bunch of writer folks tonight. Everyone was someone I met for the first time tonight, but so far, I've met:
Morning Sun
Xepher
Ruirik
LoyalLiar
Wilson
Web of Hope
Two people whose names I am blanking on right now for some reason
Red Spiral (briefly)
Heartshine
But seriously, Hasbro, more filly brushables, please. I'd love a Babs and a Diamond Tiara. And for the love of Celestia, make a show-accurate Rara with black hair. That, and I swore there was supposed to be a Cameo blindbag coming up, but I can't seem to find where I saw that news.
Okay, I'm very much psyched about how impressive the movie looks based on the trailer. Having said that, there's something I have to say after the break. (Mild spoilers for MLP movie trailer and the story if you haven't caught up yet ahead...)
For some reasons I just didn't laugh as much while watching the Ouran High School Host Club bloopers. Oh well.
And now for something completely different
Welcome back, readers! I continue to dig myself out of my Patreon reward blog hole (which brings to mind all kinds of great images, I’m sure) by moving on to more book reviews as requested by nuclercore. In this case, I’ll be tackling The Dresden Files book series, hopefully covering one a month for… well… there’s fifteen of them not including side-stories, so for a
I'm committing to finish a chapter of White Lie's story today (within the next 24 hours). Hold me to it, y'all!
I haven't written anything in a VERY long time, and I really need to start starting things again. Always the most difficult part.
Also, I want to get back to White Lie and Angel ASAP because that's a story that needs told.
Anyway, motivation start!
Psst! I just sent the next chapter of The Iron Horse to the editing team. Expect it Wednesday. I think it'll be worth the wait.
Oh, and, uh, sorry it got so delayed.
