So after taking a break from writing for a day, I thought I'd start Chapter 13 for What They Expect to Give today, but then I saw that Daredevil season 2 was on Netflix. I thought, "Oh, I'll just watch the first episode."
Three episodes later....
Wow... The Walking Dead season finale really depressed me tonight. What's worse is that the whole family has splintered apart, and I'm feeling too tired/down to want to do anything.
I guess this is as good a time as any to do computer updates.

I helped to update the description of a signoff at tv-signoffs.com and the guy there gave me credit for it!
Sadly I cannot watch the premier yet (also, I still have a migraine) so I am not going to be on the internetz for a while to avoid spoilers. I'm jealous of you all.
Right then!
I'm half watching Twin Peaks, and half writing What They Expect to Give. Waiting for my son to fall asleep. I want to just focus 100% on writing, but because I'm pretty sure I'm going to be interrupted at any moment, I don't want to get too absorbed into my work. I get VERY crabby when someone snaps me out of my rhythm...
After that blog I did two days ago, I told myself: "No, I won't blog anything. I can resist blogging."
Ha.
tl;dr -- I gush about how my family has embraced MLP, I worry about life lessons for my son via ponies, and I dread the future of our favorite cartoon.
Max here with an Op-Ed, people. Shouldn’t be a long one, but hey, it’ll give you some content while waiting for the cover reveal for Starforge! More on that later (it deserves its own post). For now, today’s Op-Ed.
My son's three favorite cartoons are Little Einsteins, Dinotrux, and... Wait for it... My Little Pony! He's 2 years old.
I swear I didn't brainwash him. He'd just sit with us when me and hubby were binging on mlp. I'm teaching him the names of the main six. Fluttershy was first when he got her happy meal toy. Then it was Pinkie Pie and Applejack. He's having trouble saying Rainbow Dash. Haven't bothered with Rarity and Twilight yet.
Yay! I got Rainbow Dash today at McDonald's! Now I have Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Coco, Buttonbelle, and Starlight Glimmer. I'm still missing Rarity though...
Also, my 2-year-old son learned Luna's name! He's watching the Nightmare Night episode and he keeps saying, "Luna scary!"
So excited for Babscon.
Also excited for this new Fallout 4 DLC but FUCK ME I HAVE TO WAIT FIVE HOURS TO UPDATE MY GAME.
So I'm getting drunk off of Miller Light and prozac. Oh, and Veep is amazing. So funny.
I was looking for something weird (seriously don't ask) when I came across this:
I wasn't really sure about it till about close to a minute in when "AJ" tries to comfort RD.
RD: "No career! No relationships! No hope!"
AJ: "You could say the same thing about me!"
RD: "I was talking about you!"
Yo, what's up, Kemosabes?
This is your friendly film, TV show, and episode reporter here with another review.
Today, for my 31st TV show analysis, I'm gonna give you guys my take of "The Emperor's New School".
Here's the rundown of this program:
I used to LOVE Reno 911 a few years back. So did my mom, so I'd watch it with her... Because I love her and I'm a mama's boy, you got a problem with that?
Anyway, does anybody else remember watching this show? Please tell me I'm not on a lonely island here.
Hey all. Guess I'm still alive. Haven't been feeling much inclination to doing much on the site, but I'm still reading almost nothing but pony fanfics (re-reading, mostly). I am actually working on the next entry of Grammar for Real People, and a while ago I made a lot of progress sprucing up my plans for Minoan Crisis, as well as preparing for a large project I may or may not have hinted at in the past. Here's hoping any of those actually bear fruit anytime soon.
