Hello readers! As we settle into the second (or for some, third or fourth) week of pandemic quarantine, I figured it’d be nice to help ease the stress of things to talk about something amusing and entertaining, even if, at this time, only hypothetical:
What if … a studio bought the rights to make Colony a feature of some kind?
I can't believe it. But due to the quarantine I have much more time than usual. So I'm going to be productive and try to finish at least 1 of my many unfinished stories. That being Adventures in Community Service

March 15, 2020 was the start of the community quarantine and it will last until April 14. With COVID-19 becoming a pandemic, the best advice is staying at home and washing hands regularly to avoid the highly contagious virus. As I went to the mall on March 15, I noticed that it was almost like a ghosttown. Of course, I wore a mask for the sake of my health. There were a few people walking around and a few restaurants have been temporarily closed such as Mary Grace Cafe, Starbucks, and
It's funny, as I've always loved siege stories. Helm's Deep, Assault on Precinct 13, Night of the Living Dead, Roarke's Drift, The Alamo-- and so on. Something about a small group of survivors holding out against a numerically larger threat is just compelling. Though it's a little less appealing when you've been living one for the last couple months. Oof.

Derply here, giving you a status update on how things are looking for April's chapters!
Right now I'm a little behind schedule, I'm sad to report. I've unfortunately not been granted any time off during the quarantine going on right now, and in fact I've been twice as busy as usual! The joys of being an essential business, I guess.
Another snag I've run into is actually a good one; I ended up COMPLETELY deleting what I had written for Dragonshy ^_^

I caught covid-19 at the end of April and I quarantined until Mother’s Day. Thankfully, I tested negative that day so I was able to go over to my parents'. Not that I hadn’t already exposed them – I’d been in contact with them before getting tested. That also meant I was good to go for SeaquestriaFest, which I was afraid I might have to miss.
So I have a pony OC for a story, whose special talent relates to diseases, viruses, and other toxic materials, and I've settled on two potential names for her - Quarantine (Simple and direct but makes her come across perhaps too villainously) or Merry Typhoon. (Takeoff on Typhoid Mary, more in line with what a sane parent would name their child, but seems like it's stretching things a bit.)
Which do you think I should choose? Or do you have other suggestions?

This week has been... Well, overwhelming. Not in the way last week was, but more... like with some life stuff.
For starters, my Mom struggling with her technology was a big thing. I'm trying to give her support because she's teaching from home, but I had to do a lot of her work for her and getting told that I wasn't doing it fast enough or not doing it right multiple times by my dad (who was observing and has no clue what her work entails technology wise), was incredibly frustrating.
*opens the fridge the seventh time in an hour*
Brain: “No, close it. Close. It. You aren’t hungry. You are just bored.”
Me: “But...food...”
Brain: “NO.”
With this corona virus crap happening, production of future chapters will be slowing down for a little while. Most of my writing is done out of the house, with much of it being done during my lunch breaks, and the restaurants in the area going to carry-out and delivery for a while means I won't be getting out of the house as much for a number of weeks.
So I have been on a hiatus a little longer than I expected: about a month, I believe. I won't bore you with the details of my personal issues, worsened by the quarantine, but I'm much better and raring to write some more about our favorite human/Fluttershy couple. (What do you MEAN it's not your favorite...? Fine. BE that way.)

I have been a little under the weather for a while, but after reading such beautiful fics her, I thought that I’d take this time to maybe make another fic.
Also, a special thank you to Lonely Fanboy , who has been a good writer, and given me opportunities to put to the test.
So, yeah... I hope for this damn coronavirus to get out so we can be our human selves again, but until then, stay safe, stay home, and stay strong!
