Update on April Chapters · 11:03pm Mar 21st, 2020
Howdy howdy~
Derply here, giving you a status update on how things are looking for April's chapters!
Right now I'm a little behind schedule, I'm sad to report. I've unfortunately not been granted any time off during the quarantine going on right now, and in fact I've been twice as busy as usual! The joys of being an essential business, I guess.
Another snag I've run into is actually a good one; I ended up COMPLETELY deleting what I had written for Dragonshy ^_^
... P-please put down the pitchforks! It's not as bad as it seems!
I essentially went back to the drawing board for what I had planned for the arc. Originally I was envisioning three large chapters, but now it's looking like four to five medium length ones. There's an aspect of the scenario that needed to be to fleshed out more, so I settled on doing just that instead of focusing on the deadline... Unfortunately, this means that I'm not at the drafting stage yet for Look Before You Sleep. There's a LOT I want to put into that one, while at the same time not making it overloaded. I thought I could fit it all in one or two chapters, but now it might be three or four.
Truth be told, we might very well end up with only one episode being covered in all of April...
... If that happens, then time permitting I will DOUBLE my efforts to update in May as well.
This might end up being the slowest MLP: Retelling Fic on the whole internet, but damn it all it will be a QUALITY snail!
I'll keep you all posted in case things change! Take heart that, regardless of what happens with the rest of the chapters, that there WILL be a new chapter being posted in eleven days!
The fact that said day is April 1st means nothing, I assure you ;)

Thanks for the update
. And being a snail is still better than some other writers who update as often as a glacier (myself included.) Take your time, have fun, don't get burnt out, stay healthy/hydrated, and eat your greens and all that jazz.
Over the course of my extended spring break from College, I'd considered messaging you to ask what was up, but figured exactly this. The quarantine from the big sneeze has me angy, derp, cause now all my colig classes are through online meetings.

Yeah, all the class stuff must be SUPER confusing right now. I've got a handful of brothers who are just straight up out of school for the rest of the school year... It's crazy.
