Due to a delay in starting their new job, Rhealm is opening up commissions to raise some money. Anyone familiar with my stories can see evidence of her art on Rules of Hospitality and Featherfall.
Several months back, I signed up for a fundraiser/competition event called the Tournament of Canterlot and entered The Lost Element as the story that would be competing and drawing in donations. But now, nearly 9 months later, my sponser page has racked up a very disheartening $0. The total donations for the competition have barely surpassed a measly 2% of the

So, this is an unexpected turn of events.
From what I gathered, Cynewulf has been put in a financial pinch after being laid off from work without warning. Monochromatic is going to be holding a fundraiser for Cynewulf on their Twitch channel, and hopefully me doing a little signal boost can help them out where I can.
One of the best friends I have made in the fandom, (who is also an excelent artist who has been so much help with me learning) ALOS, is needing to raise some fundage, so she has started a fund raising event thing.. that will involve the shaking of pony butt!

So it's been *checks watch* forever and a half eons since I last posted. If you're keeping up with my favorite's folder, then you know I'm still online a lot, but I've been kind of quiet and focused on other things. Some of you PM'd me asking what I had been up to, and I figured the rest of you might want to know.

Time for an update about our housing situation.
First, thank you. Because of your donations, we now have enough savings that will allow my family and I to probably afford pet deposits, security deposits and the first month’s rent for a new apartment.
You never cease to amaze me with your kindness and generosity. Words aren’t enough, but they’re mostly what I have to say thank you.
I will play until I most likely collapse from exhaustion. Because I literally have nothing better to do. So I figure I may as well help out.

My resolution this year is simple, just like last year; make the world a better place, even if it's in small ways.
For the past two times in 2016 and 2021, my Extra Life fundraising efforts have been focused on the 24-hour Game Day, which this year falls on November 5th.
I live in the State of Arizona so I know firsthand how messed up things are here. I could go on all day about our corrupt state politicians, our crappy Right To Work status, our failing education system, and other details which make us one of the most backwards states in this country.

I’ll dispense with the small talk this time and get to the point.
On February 19, my wife’s car died. After a long, drawn-out process, we finally got it to the mechanic’s shop, only to find it was far beyond repair. The timing belt had broken, ripping up the inside of the engine. The entire engine block needed to be replaced, which would cost $1400. The car’s transmission was dying, too, which would cost another $1000 to replace.
I'm not gonna lie y'all, this has been a rough month, and things are not setting up to get any better.
I said this before. I’ll say it again. Thank you. Thank you all so much. Painted and I could have never gotten through this nightmare without your generosity and kindness.
And because of that, you deserve to know where things stand.
