I surprised myself a bit by knocking out a vast majority of the latest chapter in the last couple days and, in light of some recent feedback, I'd like to start looking harder for a prereader. If you feel you, or anyone you know, would be helpful in this regard, please let me know. It'll help chapters get written faster and make sure the quality of the story continues to improve. I've tried reaching out to the active prereaders from other groups, but my story doesn't fit with their preferred
So I got a bit of inspiration going today, and a new chapter of Pinkamena: the Game was the result. It still needs a bit of finishing and some proofing, but after that, watch for it!
How many of you have heard this type of setup for a horror movie before?
A group of college kids head out to the sticks for a Memorial Day weekend of partying and having fun. But along the way they encounter some suspicious-looking hillbillies at the gas station. And upon arriving at their stop, things rapidly escalate and soon it becomes an all-out battle for survival...
...Except, in this story, it's not the college kids who are the protagonists in mortal danger. It's the hillbillies.
Added some 1000 words this time around. Didn't realize my writing was of such a low quality. No wonder Twilight-senpai never noticed me.
For an example of how things got changed, here's an old paragraph:
It was a diaper. If she was going to be honest, it might’ve felt a bit damp on the inside, and, of course, Twilight had seen immediately that she’d used it. She’d probably told the hospital staff to put her in one.
And here's the changed version:
So, I'm back. No memory loss, not much tiredness, nothing notable (apart from a little emotional breakdown afterwards while still struggling to breathe again post-procedure). It was simpler than going to the dentist, truth be told. If it's this easy I might not need to take as much time off work as I'd been planning.
Oh, one more thing. I woke up in the middle of the procedure.

So back in September I went looking for an artist to commission the nightmare scene from The Secret of Ponyville, and it took a while, but I found someone. I was promptly put on a waiting list, and ended up missing the Halloween deadline I'd hoped for (lesson learned, these things take time).
However, three months later, here is the completed art piece of Rarity's nightmare from Chapter 3 of The Secret of Ponyville

Today releases the final chapter of Pinkamena: The Game, entitled "Broken". With a two year hiatus and a few months of break here and there, I'm happy to say the mystery has finally ended, and closure is in store for the residents of Little Hoofington (or what's left of them).
