So, I'm back. No memory loss, not much tiredness, nothing notable (apart from a little emotional breakdown afterwards while still struggling to breathe again post-procedure). It was simpler than going to the dentist, truth be told. If it's this easy I might not need to take as much time off work as I'd been planning.
Oh, one more thing. I woke up in the middle of the procedure.
The doctors are skeptical that it actually happened, but it certainly felt like it did. I was sedated for a couple of minutes, but I think I woke right as the shock was being delivered to my forehead. It was quite painful, but so overwhelming an experience that the pain was mostly an afterthought.
This isn't supposed to happen. Next time they'll give me more anesthesia. Hopefully that will solve whatever it was I experienced.
I'd keep doing it even if I had to be awake for it every time. I'd just prefer that not be the case.
You are incredibly brave, dear. Absolutely amazing. Not for going through with the procedure (Although that deserves merit as well) But having the courage to realize you needed the help, and to step forward and get yourself that help, even if it sounds incredibly scary to do so. Bravo darling. Bravo indeed.
Glad to hear it's going relatively smoothly.
Don't forget to check for superpowers.
Ouch. Is the ECT helping?
Good luck with your recovery.

It will take at least two or three treatments before there's any noticeable change. If there's no change following the sixth treatment, it's considered a fail, and I'll move on to different options.
I sure would like to try that myself, even with the semi-scary picture you're painting.
Good news!! I am relieved to hear it. (Though seriously I hope there's no more waking up D:)
Well hey, things are looking up then, right?
Welcome back, glad it went acceptably well.
Glad to hear... well, I mean the thing itself is progress.
Waking up in the middle...
Sending my love.
You know, my other self's predecessor would have just offered to zot you with his horns. (Ahem.)
I hope it works well!
What problem has driven you to resort to ECT?
Has traditional therapy with a psychologist not yield any significant results?

Depression, and no. Therapy hasn't helped much at all, and drugs stopped working a few years ago.
4248194 sorry to hear that.
I hope things go well for you in the future, if you think positively you are bound to come across something good in the future sooner or later.
